Hotel The Veat — Hotel in Puerto Natales

I really loved this hotel. It's comfortable walking distance if you're going to shop or you've booked a boat ride out on the lake (we did) also close to a couple of massage places after hiking (definitely needed) and eating at several local restaurants. Great location. The hotel itself is really neat. Frankly, I've thought very fondly of several rainy mornings just having some coffee downstairs and looking out of their windows..quiet, good coffee and chill. The room was comfortable and clean. I would suggest not getting a street side room if you're a light sleeper. There's some foot traffic, not terrible, but when you're in timezone shock, not what you want. The staff was so friendly. Be aware that the hotel itself serves vegan. Breakfast, pastries etc. Not something my partner paid attention to, not that it mattered because we went out to eat mostly, but everyone has...

We had a one-night stay at The Veat prior to the W Trek in Torres Del Paine. The building is stunning, with beautiful views throughout the hotel. Our standard room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The bathroom (specifically, the shower) wasn't quite as nice as the rest of the room, but it was more than sufficient for a one-night stay. What set the hotel apart, however, was the exemplary service. Not only were we able to store excess luggage at the hotel for free while we were on the trek, the hotel found a watch that we left behind during our stay, held onto it, and then returned it to us when we came to pick up our luggage. We had an excellent week long stay at The Veat! It is a family owned hotel that feels exactly like that when you are there. The owners Fernanda and Nicolas were very friendly and always accommodating to our needs. I even got to ride Nicolas' bike!||||My wife is a vegetarian and staying here made it so much easier. Breakfast and lunch were great but what stood out the most was the service. The staff composed of Alejandra, Martina and Javiera were always extra attentive and helpful! They even brought food to our room when we needed.
