The shower cabin/area was very narrow, making it a little difficult to wash yourself. The area is really quiet and I'm not sure about the safety. I was told by the hotel staff, that it is in fact safe and I did walk to a nearby shop around 11 at night with no problems. Still, not the best location for tourists. |My towel was washed, but had tiny, embedded stain on it. |When we connected to Wi-Fi with our phones, the Internet wasn't working, but when we did it with laptop it was workibg well, with good speed and quality (we streamed Netflix, with no problems). |The staff are nice, friendly and helpful - service in general was 5 stars!|It's an old looking building, but rooms are very modern and comfortable inside.|There's soap and shampoo in the bathroom (not always the case in South America).|Easy payment by card with no extra charges.|It's probably the cheapest hotel that you can find, relatively close to the airport.|More about Santiago, Chile and South America travel on our...
Read moreI had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room got a nice size and there are towels and amenities in the shower. The bed is comfy. Daniel, the owner, is very helpful and gave me great advice how to go places and which restaurants to go to. He speaks english perfectly. There is a metro very closeby. The area got a lot of beautiful graffiti and when I was walking there in the evening I saw some people dancing on the street and a great atmosphere around. I am not sure how safe the area is and I was not out late and had a theft proof bag with me. Nice restaurants and museums are walking distance. The internetsignal was not always very strong but it was enough to check google maps and send some messages home. The other staff are lovely and helpful too but do not speak much english. Breakfast is simple but good and there was brewed (!) coffee.I definetely recommend this place as a good base for sightseeing...

Our room 9 was small but fitted pur needs, only issue was it got very hot and only has a fan, no a/c, not sure if other rooms had a/c. Room had TV but all channels in Spanish, you could connect to Netflixs if you have an account. |Bathroom with shower and toilet was also small.|Hotel is not very obvious as seems to be the case for most businesses in Santiago, very small front and sign and behind metal gates.|Location is good, less than 3km from central area and a nice walk to admire all...
