Kong Hing Guest House — Hotel in Hong Kong

honestly, i expected more from this hotel, base on the pictures shown, it's very different from what we got, we booked 3 quad rooms for 5 days and 4 nights, the hallway was sketchy af, we were located at 16th floor, and 1 room was at 15th floor, as soon as we entered the hotel, it's smaller than we expected, maybe we are too picky, but it's so small it's hard to move around, especially we have alot of luggages the room smells like bathroom, it stinks even though i tried using perfumes or refresheners, the aircon was super hot, it's barely cold, as someone who is used to aircons, the location was okay since it's near to shops, restaurants and banks, the service was okay, although we don't know cantonese/mandarin so it's hard to talk with the owner, this is based from my experience, i don't mean any harm, but i would prefer go to a 4-star hotel that...

We arrived in the evening of 27Feb 2023, and my family and I were shocked when we saw small bugs/cockroaches all over the two rooms we have booked, on the beds, on the walls, floors, all over the place! We didnt have the choice but stay that night since it was late, then we have cancelled the next three days we booked. As soon as we entered the building and elevator, its already a nightmare. Very dirty and old. We were so stressed, my kids were super uncomfortable too. The toilet is dark, lights are not working properly. It was a disaster. Lesson learned. I would strongly recommend to Spend a few more dollars and get a good night sleep rather than going on a budget hostel but the trouble u will face afterwards. Location of the guest house are really close to the night market. Building is old and every morning , starts at 8am you can clearly hear construction on going. Thin walls and you can also hear your neighbors. We stayed here for 2 nights. There's wifi and hot and cold shower.||Room:|-Too small, they just devided 1 flat into 7 rooms. Your toilet is literally beside your bed, divided by a glass panel. I was really shocked when we check-in. Imagine, your taking a bath / pooping and your friend can clearly hear it. Luckily i just played some music to cut the silence. |-They don't do "make-up room" every time you live the hotel, they'll just collect you trash bin.
