Weekend dinner 7-9pm - $348/pax (+10%). Overall worth it and a nice experience, especially for big eaters who are happy with fairly good but not necessarily top-of-the-line quality. Sashimi is good, grilled fish and scallops are excellent. Foie gras toast was surprisingly nice too. Sushi is all right but filling! Tempura and fried food OK. Many many drinks, hot foods, fruits in buffet area to choose from. Haagen-Dazs ice cream, soft serve ice cream, and other desserts too. Tempting to spam orders early on but actually 2 hours is a lot of time since service is very fast. After ordering via QR code, items arrived 5-15 minutes afterwards (faster than expected). Since not many diners after 9pm, not much pressure to clear on time (compared to diners who started before 7pm). Seating is fine and ambience is well-lit. Environment is clean because staff work hard to clear plates non-stop. Many staff moving back and forth ensuring orders arrive promptly. Service was efficient and sometimes quite friendly. Clean washrooms in the restaurant. Easy to access from Mong Kok MTR Exit E1, then elevator in mall straight to 4/F. Very easy to book in advance via phone or online. Overall: surprisingly pleasant night out with group of friends.

Daikiya is the go-to for Japanese food buffet for a lot of us local HKers, as cheap as it is the quality wasn’t compromised! Visited the mongkok branch with a 6:30 booking, make sure you’re on time because it ends sharp at 8:30! 🔸Sashimi Sashimi cuts were thicker than expected and very fresh. Loved the raw prawns, a great combination of freshness and sweetness! 🔸Sushi Both fresh and grilled sushi were available, kept ordering my favorite grilled flatfish 🤤 surprisingly also got some creative options such as black truffle crab scallop roll! 🔸Cooked food I insisted on ordering udon (of course🤪), the soup base was okay and came in a small portion so it’s not too filling. The deep fried durian was a fun choice if you like the taste🫣 🔸Drinks The sake station provides hot sake, but if you’re not a fan there are tons of other options in the fridge!

All you can eat sushi, sashimi, cooked seafood, ice cream, desserts, soups, dim sum, cold drinks including beers and hot tea. You need to download the app and order from the app. The app doesn’t have English so we used google translator app and live translating to see what we are ordering. Even if you don’t have translator app you can see the photos of the item of food you are ordering. We went 5pm slot and we had 2 hours to eat and leave the table. Midway they give us the bill to pay. It’s the quoted price plus 10% service charge. For what we paid it’s good service and foods. Definitely recommend who likes Japanese food and come with family and friends.
