We do not consider this to be a pod-hotel. It’s more like a dorm with build in beds. There is no door in the “pod”(only a curtain) and no room for any luggage. The bed is around 120 cm so quite narrow for two persons. The dorm is really noisy, you can hear the neighbours cough, talk and snore. Luggage is stored in lockers which are too small to fit two medium sized bags. Everyone leaves their suitcases outside of the lockers and only puts the most valuable things in there. The bathroom is small but fine and clean enough. The location is great so if you are looking for a place to sleep and shower, it’s fine! Bring your earplugs though!

Cheap for that location, great value! Cheap price for a stay at TST. An automatic check-in and check-out machine. Chose a private room The mattress is very thin like Japanese tatami, very thin not for everyone. The pillows are nice though. The socket is not at a good location next to the mattress and one socket is blocked. Shower is fine but the wall decor is a bit worn off. Great shower head though. So overall it's good but definitely not for everyone, maybe a great option for backpackers.

It's quite hard to find the location because there wasn't any sign name. If you can't find it, the fastest solution is to call their phone and ask for directions. The lift is so small, it only fits 3-4 people. I booked the private room version, it's small, and the overall environment is not that clean.

The other online reviews about the cleanliness of this hostel are real. 1.The most disgusting which I couldn't accept is that that someone hangs her own underwear in the public toilet. Not only one buy a few hanging around.2. The bed in my capsule is sunken heavily. 3.The lift that is linked to the hostel is broken so I have to carry my luggage to another level side lift. 4. At my last day of staying in this hostel, the tenant who stayed at my upper deck, opening the door violently and it bangs to the wall of the capsule around 4 am twice, climbed up and down. I was having a deep sleep and suddenly woke up with a heavy heart racing and shocked by the loud bang created by the upper deck person.. 5. The address of the hostel from trip. Com and Google. Com are different. 6. The hostel is abit hard to find where is it. 7. The capsule buttons for different functions most of them are broken, can't use the function/not available. Especially the air circulation is not working. So I have to open a little bit of door to let the aircon come inside my capsule. 8. Questioning for the main entrance security, just out of curious not sure how long will they change the pass code once awhile. Based of my experience, I am abit doubting the security. 9. The entire environment doesn't looks like the photos showing online. Probably this business has been quite long awhile and many part of the amenities are old and unclean. 10. Someone took away my 1 time use towel and I have to call and request the management for 1. Positive side:1.I think worker attitude is ok.2.Safety wise is fine, there's a security guard 24 hours at ground level and cctv in this building. 3. Location is good. Beside the mtr train and also many walking distance for shops, shopping mall, food market etc. 4. 7-11 and local grocery market just beside. I think The management should being more proactive, to inform your customer the check-in information. At least provide a list of information what should we expect and how to find the locations attaching with the map. The owner might need to consider do a detailed of the whole hostel professional cleaning, every each corner of the hostel. Will I come back again? Definitely no, good bye. with this rate and pricing, there's something similar or slightly better hostel than this. I can't take it the underwear hanging at the public toilet area and no one flushing the toilet. :V the loud bang from the upper capsule person created almost gave me a trauma. :V can you imagine that you slept so deeply and someone boomshakalaka you in a sudden midnight 4am? Overall it wasn't super triple horrible, but still there's better...

I don’t recommand this hotel. I didn’t pay a lot to book a week but I wish I payed less. Even if the hotel is quite hard to find at first, the location in HK is great. The neighborhood is safe. The wifi works fine as well.

However, the check-in is electronic, I had trouble to check-in so I called a manager and I could hear how annoyed I made her for no reason. There is no indication on how to do anything I had to ask someone how to get the wifi ect. The place is too small that it accommodates and we understand it as soon as we arrive. You can't put your stuff in the lockers because they are all taken and there is a "first come, first served" note with another note that says you can't leave your bags in the capsule. Poorly organized. Thankfully my capsule room was clean, the sheets were clean but that’s not something to be happy about that should be normal. A bit damaged in a few places. The rest of this hotel is dirty and smells musty. The ground isn’t cleaned very often whether it’d be the room’s space, the common room, the kitchen or the bathrooms. I don’t mind sharing a bathroom and toilets but the ladies here don’t care that other people are going to take a shower after them. Bits of hair were lying here and there in the shower and one woman found the good idea to dry her underwear in a shower that everyone shares. If you don't have a problem showering with panties over your head, good for you. It seems like people live here on a regular basis, they’re not rude (just a few weird stares) but it feels like you’re stepping into their house without asking. They made this place their own, maybe that’s why no one cleans. I wish the capsules were separated with men and women on a different area but unfortunately that’s not the case. I expected such a different experience, it’s not horrible but it’s still bad. I expected the cleanness and privacy of the capsule hotels in Japan, unfortunately that’s different. It feels like an awkward sharehouse. You can hear what people are doing and vice versa. You can hear people snoring at night for example. It’s embarrassing.

My reservation on Booking was non-refundable and having a small student budget I could not afford to change hotels unlike another lucky customer who fled 24 hours after his arrival. So I went with it.

I booked this hotel quite late (1 month) before my trip, but I am sure you can find something better at the same price. I wonder if the customers who put 5/5 really exist or, we really don't have the same...

Our recent stay at The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui was a mixed experience, with both positive and negative aspects that shaped our overall impression.Pros:Convenient Location: The hostel is strategically located in a lively neighborhood, providing easy access to public transportation and local attractions.Polite and Friendly Staff: The staff at The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui were consistently polite and friendly, contributing to a positive atmosphere during our stay.Cons:Noise and Capsule Size: Despite reminders to keep quiet, other guests in this capsule hotel often failed to follow the guidelines, leading to disturbances. The capsules are too small, and the thin mattresses made for an uncomfortable sleeping experience. The lack of proper ventilation necessitated opening the capsule door for air conditioning, affecting overall comfort.Unpleasant Odors: The pervasive smell of mothballs throughout the facility was overwhelming and contributed to headaches during our stay.Capsule Movement Disturbances: Guests occupying the bottom capsule may experience sleep disruptions due to excessive movement from capsules above, highlighting a design flaw in the sleeping arrangements.Small and Unsanitary Toilets: The restroom facilities were cramped, not sufficiently clean, and could benefit from improvement. While disposable towels and toothbrushes were provided, the overall cleanliness fell short of expectations.Disposable Slippers: The disposable slippers provided were criticized for being too small and thin, prompting a preference for wearing socks in the supposedly quiet areas.Cleanliness Concerns: While generally clean, the hostel could benefit from enhanced cleanliness standards to meet the expectations of discerning guests.Value for Money:Considering the price paid for our stay, The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui offered a value that was close to average. However, with several areas requiring improvement, the overall value could be significantly enhanced through better amenities and services. Conclusion:The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui provided a close-to-decent stay with room for improvement in various aspects. The convenient location and courteous staff were overshadowed by issues such as noise disturbances, uncomfortable sleeping conditions, unpleasant odors, and cleanliness concerns. With a commitment to addressing these shortcomings, this capsule hotel has the potential to offer a more satisfactory and better value-for-money experience...
