PICI is best known for its Tasting menu. For two people, it includes a choice of 2 starters, 3 pasta dishes, and 2 desserts. You can even choose from the seasonal menu (with additional charges for some items). Each PICI location has slightly different menus, so it doesn't get monotonous. I'm actually curious about the portion sizes for different group sizes. Would 3 people get 4 pasta dishes? 4 people get 5?

:: Chef's selection cold cuts Includes Parma ham, cheese, walnuts, with truffle honey I recently discovered that cheese paired with honey is a perfect combination! I love it, although I'm not a big fan of Parma ham.
:: Beef Carpaccio Thin slices of cooked beef topped with a thick layer of parmesan cream It's quite delicious, and the cream isn't overpowering. I usually have a hard time finding a starter I like at PICI because I don't enjoy eating raw or cold dishes. But I unexpectedly loved this one!
:: Pappardelle Beef Cheek Slow-cooked beef that's very tender and flavorful, with great pasta texture. The sauce could be a bit richer though.
:: Tagliolini Truffle (+20) Similar to the previous pasta dish, the pasta itself is excellent, but it's lacking in flavor, whether it's the sauce or the truffle.
:: Tagliolini ai Cannolicchi (seasonal menu) Although this dish is from the seasonal menu, you can order it without any additional charges with the Tasting menu! The sauce is the best among the three pasta dishes, with a strong seafood flavor and a good amount of garlic. However, the seafood were small and slightly overcooked, so don't expect too much from them.

The tuna tartare arrived bright, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The Burrata cheese was creamy and balanced, just as we remembered from past visits. These first courses raised our expectations for a seamless tasting experience.
The signature Pappardelle e Porcini tasted oddly of rancid oil, but we finished it. Next came the squid-ink seafood pasta, which smelled overwhelmingly fishy and featured one prawn head turned jet black. We politely asked the manager for a replacement, only to be told that “seafood is always a bit fishy” and offered a different dish instead.
Hoping to give the kitchen a second chance, we requested the same seafood pasta swap. What arrived was effectively a tomato-and-white-wine pasta—not the original dish—and though it was edible, it wasn’t what we ordered. The dismissive tone throughout left us feeling unheard and further soured the meal’s mood.
By dessert, we were already too disheartened to fully enjoy the sweet course. The staff tried to placate us with extra dessert and wine, but the gesture felt hollow without genuine acknowledgement of the issues. What should have been a highlight turned into a series of missteps.

💛Sausage and Borlotti 💛 Out of all the starters, this is my favourite! It was very comforting to eat as there are sausage pieces and beans. 😍There are some bread pieces in it too to add some crunch to the dish! 😌
🥩Pappardelle Beef Cheek 🥩 All their spaghetti is more on the chewy side and I loved it all! They have beef cheek in this pasta, adding some variety to the dish. Between the two pastas we ordered, I prefer this one more! 😇
🍝Tagliolini Truffle 🍝 Truffle lovers gotta check this out! It was quite heavy on black truffle flavour as there were some freshly shaved black truffle on top of the pasta. 😎However, there was only pasta and black truffle in this dish so it got a little too much carbs for me. 🥺
🤎Tiramisu🤎 The tiramisu was chef's kiss! It was not so sweet and I loved every bite of it! 😌
The weekend brunch set is $268 per person and you will definitely feel satisfied after it! 🥹They also have so many yummy options to choose from for pasta, there should be one that you will like! I am also loving the vibes of the resto, perfect for a date night dinner. 🙃
