Well I am not kidding, but my reaction for this cafe shop remains as 😍 the whole way. The whole experience is perfect, every dish is like an art for us.
Found out that this is their second branch, Reaction coffee shop is a yellow shop, providing healthy food choices, 50% is vegetarian 50% is meaty on their menu. They also have a nice variety of breakfasts, burgers, toasts and desserts options.
Starting off with this Rose Latte. The tea flavor definitely comes through, so does the rose, and while it's a little on the sweet side, it isn’t sweet in an overpowering way.
You can see almost every table order this signature dish. Baked Portobello with Black Truffle Scrambled Egg Burger $98, the scrambled is so much like a land slide. Very creamy and smooth in its brightest yellow colour. I like the sweet potato fries. Sweet potato fries are bound to taste sweet by nature, but these fries are next-level. With a crisp outer texture and a soft, tender interior.
Spanish Duroc Pork Belly Egg Benedict $112 They can turn normal daily ingredients into something eye candy. Look at that pickled onion.
Even though it doesnt come with a Hollandaise sauce, the dish is delicious with perfectly runny yolk, so you can try the food in its rawest flavour. The pickled onion balances out the fatty pork belly.
Spicy Shrimp Linguine $102 This dish won’t light your tongue on fire or send you running for an emergency glass of milk, but it does have a nice kick to it. In a spicy shrimp pasta with red sauce like this one, the top source of flavor is the sauce itself. This tomato sauce has so much bang to it already, rich tomato puree. Can’t stop photographing it before it goes into my tummy. Caramelized Banana with Cinnamon Bread $78 Delicious banana dessert with the caramelised sugar melting into your mouth with a hint of cinnamon. Also love that candied walnuts, eating it alone is perfect, which it can be the perfect movie snack as well!
Had a really really nice lunch celebrating my birthday, every dish is cooked with perfection and plated like an art! Do support them this local small...
Read moreDinner was great, we got crab salad, tofu fries, char siu burger, and key lime pie. Crab salad was delicious with fresh mango and green apples and sumptuous servings of real crab meat. The portion actually looked bigger than that of the web menu photo! The tofu fries was a really nice surprise, chewy texture. Never had anything like that before for tofu... an interesting invention. My friend said the char siu burger was great, very juicy. The pineapple in the burger was fried and was a real nice surprise too, the sweet and sour went well with the char siu... reminiscence of the pineapple ham/party pineapple sausage, yes pineapple does goes well with pork and there's heart in frying the pineapple first. The key lime pie was tasty too but slightly too rich for my liking coz there's cheese in it, tasted more like key lime cheesecake to me... if there's cheese in the key lime pie probably should've mentioned it in the menu coz I was trying to avoid cheese. All in all, great dining experience esp. with the by the...
Read moreWe stumbled across this place accidentally, the menu and interior looked really nice so we decided to come in. While the atmosphere and the food were great, the service was rather disappointing. It's a self service cafe, where you order via QR code, we of course don't mind that, the problem was that there was no human care for us as customers at all. Our plates weren't cleared, we weren't checked on. In fact the only time the waiter spoke to us was to sit us down and to inform us they were out of a certain drink. Although there was no real service on the waiter's part, the 10% service fee was still included. In my opinion, not earned at all and if given the option I wouldn't chose to tip. As for the food, it was rather good and the dark sourdough was amazing. I got the avocado toast with feta and poached eggs, my only comment for that is that while it was delicious I was expecting more feta on the toast rather than a measly crumble on the side...
