I came here based on reviews. The black americano was very good. It really was the perfect coffee. The regular size is quite big. That is where it ends. Staff were rude and unfriendly especially the gentleman. You order and pay at the counter if dining in, they will give you one of those restaurant table number tents to place on your table and then they will bring the order to you when ready. Very small place with limited seats. Clean. Somewhere that still accepts cash! Not too busy just after noon on a Monday and I managed to get a seat. The bagel was awful. I asked for the smoked salmon bagel but instead of having it with cream cheese, I asked for the poached egg instead, and they said it was fine. It came with a lightly dressed 'salad'. Salad meaning lettuce! The bagel was dry and hard, almost plastic like. The smoked salmon was good, the egg wasn't the best poached egg. They added some sort of chilli powder on it which gave it a bit of flavour but other than that, it wasn't great. I ate half of it. The couple next to me who ordered the same appeared to not like theirs either. Even when I had finished and left, I said thank you and there was no appreciation for my custom! For coffee yes, but don't eat there. Having said this, they don't seem to appreciate business so you may as well go...

No. 1 Coffee & Co is one of the few serious coffee shops on the Kowloon Peninsula. In addition to decent food, they brew some of the best black and white coffee drinks outside of Hong Kong Island. You'll find this coffee shop along Mody Road not far from K11 Art Concept Mall. Opening hours are 8am to 8pm (Sunday to Thursday) and 8am to 10pm (Friday and Saturday).

This place only has a handful of indoor seating and tables are often occupied. As such, you have to be willing to have your coffee drinks to-go from time to time. There is a small outdoor area with a single table and standing room if weather outside is suitable.

Recently had a flat white (HK$36) with an extra shot (+$5) that tasted pretty good. White coffees are served on the milky side at No. 1 so I usually order the extra shot to strengthen the flavour of the the drink. Have enjoyed espressos and ristretto orders from No. 1 Coffee over the...

A small but nice place but terrible service. I ordered an Americano and sandwich and the food came about 10 minutes later. I followed up twice about my coffee and first was told they were very busy even though there was only 2 other people in the restaurant. The second time they told me mine was next even though I saw 3 other tables receive their lattes and mochas before me.

Again 30 minutes after I ordered I again asked and was told they would look into it. 5 minutes later I received my coffee after 40 minutes and 3 follow-ups and seeing 5 other tables receive their coffee before me.

They also served my coffee in a paper cup despite every other table receiving mugs.

I usually write positive reviews but will not return. There are so many other places. I can sometimes overlook poor service as just 1 employee having a bad day but I asked 3 different people and they told me 3...
