I recently stayed at the Chalet Hotel in Shanghai for one night, and the overall experience was excellent. We booked a triple room, which was spacious, bright, and warmly decorated. The room was fully equipped with all the necessary amenities, and every detail reflected the hotel’s thoughtfulness. In particular, the heated toilet was a nice touch—very comfortable and especially appreciated in an air-conditioned room.The front desk service was truly impressive. All the staff members were highly professional, always greeting guests with a smile and warm hospitality. I’d especially like to thank Mr. Lin Feng at the front desk, who handled all my requests patiently and efficiently. He also went the extra mile to recommend many local dining spots that turned out to be absolutely delicious. His enthusiasm and attention to detail made me feel genuinely welcomed.The hotel’s location is another highlight. People’s Square is just behind the hotel, making it incredibly convenient for transportation, shopping, and dining—everything is within easy walking distance.Moreover, the hotel breakfast was a pleasant surprise. There was a wide variety of both Chinese and Western options, all of which were delicious. It was the perfect way to start the day.All in all, this was a truly satisfying stay. From the comfortable room and excellent location to the high-quality breakfast and warm, professional service, everything was just right. I will definitely choose to stay here again the next time I’m in Shanghai—not only for the great environment but especially for the outstanding front desk team that made the experience...

Nearest shopping street , 5 minutes walking to Nanjing Road, Hotel room is in very good condition,Miss Yao Yao , hotel reception has very best service mind, she tried a lot to help me using translate app in Ali pay. Any how I still lost in space since I could not read or speak Mandarin. After 3 days staying at hotel, I finally found exact hotel location in google map. I did not know why… many buildings on or nearby Hotel Chalet location were moved into Huangpo River or you might find that the map guided you to other hotel nearby . The right location of Chalet Hotel in google map is on Mamma Mia Italian Liesure Restuarant . Not far away from hotel at the corner of people‘s park there are the bus stop of sightseeing shuttle bus around Shanghai only 60 RMB per 24 hrs cheaper than taxi , nearby bus stop has main metro line which you can go underground finding best and cheap food ,bakery clothes shop and etc You can shop until you drop 555

Room - Excellent. There are plenty of outlets around the room. The bedroom has a smart system, but the issue is that it's in Chinese, so communication in English isn't possible, which means the functions couldn't be fully utilized. The bed and pillows are excellent. The TV has many channels, but I couldn't find any news channels, and all the programs were in Chinese.Wi-Fi - The speed in the room was still slow and I couldn’t access any websites.Service - The staff were very attentive and tried to communicate and assist with everything. During my stay, there was a brief power outage, but a technician came quickly to resolve it and provided great care.In the room, all the necessary amenities were available and sufficient - fridge (minimum cooling at 14°C), the shower had very strong water pressure, and the toilet had only an automatic flush system with no bidet spray.Air conditioning - It's automatic but can be adjusted manually.Lobby - There's a coffee machine available 24/7, which is excellent.Overall - Clean.
