Sol De Alba Hotel Boutique — Hotel in Cartagena

FANTASTIC!!!!!! This is a gorgeous New Boutique Hotel located in the walled city of Cartagena (safe neighborhood) & close to a ton of attractions. Beautiful rooms, large TV, Lovely pool and lounging areas. The food and alcohol (try the Mohito's) was outstanding. They paid attention to the small details which really add to the ambience eg/ lovely glass jars in the bathroom with cotton balls/q-tips, Containers of Bon Bon's & Nuts etc, fully stocked refrigerated drinks. The decor is beautiful and from our understanding they are renovating and adding a rooftop patio which will be even more spectacular. Even though we loved everything about this hotel our favorite thing was the incredible staff. Alex, Juan Pablo, Javier & Gaer were outstanding, we came in as strangers and left as friends. Fabulous hotel with very comfortable rooms and excellent service. The bed was super comfy and rooms are very well equipped. Mini bar, safe, air con, great shower, nice toiletries, dressing gowns etc. The staff were amazing! Thank you so much to the incredible team - Rodolfo, Alejandro, Alicia and Maria.

Breakfast each morning was delicious - fresh fruit, coffee, juice and a choice of eggs with sausages, arepas etc.

The rooftop pool and bar area is small but beautiful. We had amazing mojitos made by Alejandro and enjoyed a dip in the pool.

Great location - right in the centre of Cartagena. Unfortunately, this means it's a bit noisy so would recommend bringing ear plugs! Otherwise, this hotel was incredible. We stayed for 3 nights and absolutely loved our stay here. Thank you Sol...

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful boutique hotel. The service was impeccable and personal. Rodolfo, Jhon, Milton and the team were very helpful, whether we needed to get around the city, fix our laundry or serve us great drinks and tasty breakfast. The hotel is centrally located in the Old City so there is a bit of street noise like music, but it is just part of the Cartagena experience and fun. The rooms are very clean, have enough storage space, a large TV and we even got a beautiful balcony facing the street. The cleaning staff tidied our room every day thoroughly. We had some late nights, but the front desk was always awake to greet us. The rooftop has a bar, a large sitting area and a pool with a bit of shade...
