Small little sushi spot in the touristy area of Cartagena.

Prices on the menu were pretty high for the quality and amount you got.

Atmosphere of the restaurant was pretty boring and bland and a random wall paper of a Japanese lady is the interior design? Would have been cool if they had any of local artist/talent to paint the place.

My fiancé spoke in Spanish and they kept speaking in English and gave us an English menu…

Okinawa was the first dish we ordered 6.2/10 I don’t know how it reflects the tropical area of Japan? It was also just covered in sauce too and bottom which kind of took away from the flavour of fish and ruined the whole dish.

Next dish was the Tiger eye Roll 7.2/10 I personally enjoyed it as I love the taste of green onions but the other opinions at the table was that’s all they could taste.

Don’t go there. We ordered Ebi only to see that it came with no eel and only “eel and sesame sauce” - the equivalent of ordering steak only to see French fries and meat sauce. In the other maki roll with eel we didn’t see any at all, and the waiter showed us a tiny chunk of eel, which was barely visible next to the seaweed. They also did not apologize and replied that they followed the menu. We do not have experience with any other dishes but we suspect that they resort to similar means - playing word games and giving almost invisible chunks of seafood to fool the consumers. I was really impressed with this place as the rolls tasted great. However, my boyfriend and I both came down with TERRIBLE food poisoning the morning after we dined here. I believe it was the chopped up shrimp topping on the Masaki sushi roll that may have been sitting out too long though out the day. I should’ve trusted my gut - initially I pushed the topping off to the side & ended up picking at it after the fact. Whatever it was, ruined the last two days of our vacation.
