Friendly staff, buffet breakfast, very clean. |They call themselves Ecohotel, that must be because of the solarboiler on the roof supplying the hotel with hot water. That's a good start, even better would be to install solarpanels on that roof. Plenty of space for it :)|Other ecologic initiatives are soap and shampoo dispensers. My wife and I are visiting Colombia for the 1st time and staying in Medellin for 5 days. We found this new hotel and it is in a great safe location of Medellin. There is mall nearby and a number of restaurants within walking distance, except the return walk is quite a challenge since it is uphill. The room was very roomy with safe, nice shower head, hot and cold water, complimentary breakfast. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that we can only have 1 key and we have to give it to front desk when departing for sightseeing. We have a couple of laptops and it shuts them off because the power shuts off when key is not inserted in slot. I understand the reasoning but we find it a bit of a nuisance. Otherwise, it is a...

The staff here is great. Very helpful and attentive and always willing to help with recommendations or arrangements. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and the included breakfast was very good with plenty of choices.

Two things to be aware of. First, the wifi does not reach every room. We were in 303 and although we could connect, the wifi would cut out every few minutes. In the lobby it works fine. Second, the hot water is not constant or immediate. It takes some time to get there; one time it took five...
