Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend that you download Google translator if you are not good with speaking Spanish. Breakfast was enough to satisfy the average person and the chef will cook any of the typical breakfast food like an omelette. One small elevator that everyone has to ride including house keeping so hopefully no more than five ppl will need to go to their rooms at once. That’s five people touching on the elevator. Also really hope the elevator doesn’t ever need service because walking up several flights will make anyone upset. Elevator was working with no problem my entire time their. Room 702 had a broken window latch, which prevented the window from closing. It had to stay cracked the 1 night I spent in the room before the manager offer to change my room. Lobby has music but lacks the inviting vibe. Maybe a redecorating of the lobby would give it a welcoming vibe. During my stay they closed off dinning area for a special private event for a soccer team and a kids birthday party which the area was well decorated. They are getting another new hotel in June which was shared by the cute receptionist. Hopefully the new hotel will have more than 1
No iron, spotty wifi (which you will need to request at check in because they do not volunteer the password), very clean place, in a nice location that’s near everything I wanted to see. 5 to 10 minute cab ride everywhere that we needed to go. With exception of...
Read moreThis hotel was a very comfortable and safe choice - we knew that in Medellin, El Poblado was the location to stay and this hotel had good reviews and included free breakfast.||||The room was nice a super clean and cozy, with a big, comfortable bed and HOT shower (trust me, if you had been in Colombia for a while, you appreciate being able to take hot shower). Breakfast was average, nothing special and did not include much variety, but all the offered choices were very tasty with fresh local produce. Staff was very helpful and friendly, although we did not interact much with them.||||The location is also great; The hotel itself is located in a quiet neighbourhood (except for Friday night, when there was an all-night party taking place at the adjacent community center) but still within a 10-15 minutes walking distance from the main busy area of El Poblado, where there are plenty of amazing restaurants and bars and clubs to have a night out with friends.||||Overall, good value for the money, I can recommend staying here and...
Read moreFirst of all...you need to visit Medellin, Colombia...a vibrant city...with so many attractions and venues. We checked into the hotel at 3AM due to JetBlue weird schedule. Great staff. The room is very clean and modern. You can drink the tap water in Medellin. Breakfast included with room exceeds your expectations. And of course great Colombian coffee. There is an exercise area with 3 cardio machines...that's it. No pool. Quite frankly, however, you want to get out of the hotel and into the city. Die hard gym fans can buy a day pass at the local chain gym if training is a must. No problem...and cheap. The breakfast attendent, the front desk staff, and porters...very professional. Good for business or vacation. Nice quiet location too. Extremely good value for money. I...
