I am very particular when it comes to hygiene, and I must say, Veler was on point! The hotel is small, but was exactly what I needed, right in the midst of Poblado. Those concerned with noise, there is a bar (Not a nightclub, so you're fine) next door downstairs but the noise to my to my room was faint, and died down completely by 11ish on Fri/Sat nights while I was there. The breakfast wasn't fancy, but had the items you'd want in a breakfast (Eggs of your choice with ham and cheese, toast, arepas, fruits, tea/coffee, and juice). Read moreI was surprised when I checked in and got quite a small room with no windows, if I was in Medellín for more than 2 nights, it would have been a problem to stay there. Some of the staff were very nice and some were just ok (almost not ok...). Another surprise I had was that although I booked a double room, when I checked out, I found out that I had to pay almost the same price I paid for myself for an extra guest that slept over one night (and hadn't had breakfast). If I had this information in advance, I would have chosen either an airbnb or a hotel that would allow me to...
