Casa Charlotte Alma Hotels — Hotel in Santa Marta

Full transparency, I did not get to stay at Casa Charlotte, but that is not fault of their own.

I booked Casa Charlotte through a 3rd party website, I never do this and should have known better. When I showed up for my reservation and they did not have it nor any availability, the staff could not have been any sweeter and kinder.

Through Google Translate (I really need to work on my Spanish), the team here not only checked their other properties, sadly all rooms were booked, but they helped me find a place for the evening, invited me back for breakfast, and in the meantime set me up to work from the current Casa for the day.

Working from here I can say the property and rooms are very pretty and clean. Staff is 10/10!

If I come back to Santa Marta, I will absolutely book one of the Alma...

We were meant to stay at casa rosa (which we’d stayed at previously and loved) but unfortunately there was flooding due to thunderstorms. Very quick and good communication from team to put us in this alternative hotel without additional charge. This hotel is gorgeous, such nice features and clean rooms. Hot showers with lovely free toiletries. Could not recommend more - the staff who helped us switch hotel and also the lady who made us a delicious breakfast were lovely - so friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend staying...

The hosts were very attentive, we had a fresh breakfast every day. Furthermore, the hotel is located one street away from Parque de los novios in the historic city. The rooms are very quiet which is nice when being in the, sometimes very busy, city centre. Can recommend...
