Casa Jungle Monteverde was a phenomenal experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and affordable, and Breakfast service was prompt as well. However, the real gem of Casa Jungle is the host, Emmanuel. He is basically a 5 star concierge with personal contacts to every tour and shuttle company across the country. He is always ready to help no matter what you need, and can solve any issue or answer any question within minutes. From answering questions about the accommodations prior to booking, to helping us make a few last minute changes to our reservation from our home country, his communication was flawless and made it possible for us to just enjoy our trip instead of worrying about anything. When we finally made it to the bed and breakfast, he was able to help us book shuttles to the airport home, jungle tours, and offer fantastic suggestions for exploring Monteverde as well as nearby La Fortuna. Finally, when we left Monteverde and Casa Jungle for La Fortuna, we accidentally left something behind and a he was able to arrange for their transport to arrive in less than 24 hours (and this was over the holidays). When traveling in a foreign country with limited Spanish knowledge, it makes all the difference to have the support of such an incredible host ensuring your stay goes smoothly. We would recommend that anyone stay with this wonderful host on their next trip to Monteverde. Thank you Emmanuel for putting up with us and offering such amazing hospitality...

What an amazing experience... the property is very private and comfortable. A family owned small business with the most hospitable and helpful host. You'll feel at home in Monteverde with Emmanuel. This host knows everyone in town and will guarantee that his contacts and friends take care of you... Play your cards right and you'll be partying with the locals and living Pura Vida. This is the only place worth staying at to make your trip to Monteverde a lifetime experience. One for everyone's bucket list.

This place also sticks with the bed and breakfast tradition of providing guests with a Tico style breakfast (or eggs and toast for whoever prefers)... and after sleeping in the most comfortable firm bed, this is as close to being treated...

We had an amazing time during our stay at Casa Jungle. Emanuel, the host and manager, was extremely helpful and responsive, both before and during the trip. He not only answered our questions, but went out of his way to give us advice, organize day trips, and ensure we were happy, safe and taken care of. The room was clean, comfortable, and well decorated, and the property was quaint and lovely, with colorful flowers and wall paintings. The location was perfect - a short walk to Santa Elena downtown, with breakfast served in the morning, and we had a really positive experience :). If you are going to Monteverde, we would highly recommend staying at Casa Jungle, and to book all your excursions...
