Monteverde EcoLove — Hotel in Monteverde

This is a great place to stay in Monteverde, a bread n breakfast with a spacious upper floor and three apartments (each with own bathroom). Johanna, the host was very nice, she helped us with arranging a super bird-watching tour with his brother-in-law who was very knowledgable about wildlife and specifically birds. She also supported us with various small requests. We also had a grear breakfast and our clothes were washed and dried. The kitchen is also very well equipped. While the house is a bit windy and sometimes cold, it is more than compensated by the amazing view to the bay. Location is close to the center...

If you want to experience a holiday in the midst of a Costa Rican family, Johanna is the place for you.

She lives here with her husband and two small children on the outskirts of the city and rents out some rooms of her expectant house to guests. This is still bed and breakfast as it used to be.

Such a wonderful spot to stay during your time in Monteverde. A little off the hustle and bustle which we appreciated, and with a gorgeous view over a lake. Walking distance to restaurants etc should you not have a car.

There are different room options: we opted for a room inside the main house with a shared bathroom. Everything was clean and comfortable.
