I went for Breakfast to have a Açaí Bowl and it was one of the best I’ve had in Costa Rica. They also have lots of vegan and vegetarian options as well as gluten-free choices.
🔥WHATS SPECIAL: Açaí Bowl. Breakfast served all day. You can read about their inspiring story on their website.
🥗MENU: bowls, Bagels, Sandwiches, crepes, Desserts, smoothies & Natural juices
🥑VEGAN OPTIONS: açaí bowl (5500 CR), fruit bowl (4900 CR), avocado-Toast with hummus (4900 CR), Vegan Bowl (6800 CR)
🥙ACAI BOWL: 10/10. Delicious!! Puree came with seasonal fruit, sliced almonds, chia seeds and dark chocolate chunks. I ordered homemade granola with cinnamon as an extra topping (1500 CR). Pricey but a big portion.
↗️Suggestions for chef: Include granola as a natural fiber source and nut butter for healthy fat.
💁♀️SERVICE: 7/10. They took the order, brought the food and that was it. But that’s my experience in most Tourist places in Costa Rica.
🏡VIBE: Relaxed and casual. If you go before 9, the Place is almost empty. Afterwards, it gets busy.

🌎WIFI: Available
💵PRICE: a little cheaper than other locations
⏰OPENING HOURS: daily 7 am - 6 pm...
Read moreThe food was so good, we went twice in our 3 day visit to Monteverde. Everything was so good and fresh. First, their coffee is out of this world. I had a traditional Costa Rican, cappuccino and a cold latte. All excellent. They get their beans from local farms and you can tell it is ultra premium. Next, the crepes are outstanding. 10 year old refused to talk once he started eating his because it was too good. The lunch bowl I had was excellent. Wife had tomato basil soup and grilled cheese, a bit pedestrian sounding for Costa Rica, but very kind waitress reassured her stating it was her favorite thing on the menu. She was right - best tomato basil soup she had tasted in her life and she is a fanatic for the stuff. Even though we were stuffed, had to stay for another coffee and to try their sweets. Shared a piece of salted Carmel cheesecake. Very good. Do not pass this little place up for breakfast or lunch in Santa Elena. Like us, I bet you will want to go back...
Read moreWe stayed in Monteverde for 2 weeks and came back here 4 times because it was so good! Everything we had was perfect. Really great place for vegetarians as well.
We tried the: Veggie Panini - the bread was so soft and crispy and fresh and the pesto was so good.
Breakfast Club - this thing was huuuuge. Recommend splitting it with another person. This sandwich was also huge on flavor. It has everything…eggs, bacon, pesto, tomato, lettuce. Again, the bread was to die for.
Huevos Rancheros - we’re from Texas and this was some of the best huevos rancheros we’ve ever had.
Breakfast Crepe - comes smothered in hollandaise sauce with the fluffiest scrambled eggs you’ve ever had, spinach, bacon, and ricotta. The side salad had the tastiest dressing! I think we’ll be back later today so I can treat myself to a salad with that dressing as good salads are hard to find...
