Bova Luxury Rooms — Hotel in Dubrovnik

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend and couldn’t recommended it high enough - it’s superb. I can’t believe that someone has given this place an average review stating they were disappointed. Anka on reception gave us lots of information upon arrival and while she’s not there the whole day, there’s always Google or TripAdvisor that equally work as efficient guides. If you need hand-holding as a tourist then a quiet, stylish boutique hotel might not be for you - perhaps a large, overcrowded chain hotel instead? Bova’s location is perfect and the views of the harbour as soon as you step out are stunning. We didn’t have time to use the pool although we had a quick look (very nice and clean) but the breakfast (which is about £9 per person) is very good. We would definitely come back to Bova again. I was a little apprehensive about booking Bova Luxury Rooms for our 5 night stay due to the reduced reception hours and the fact that it's a small boutique hotel but I was swayed by the numerous positive reviews and decided to take a chance. And boy does Bova deserve all those 5 star ratings!||||The rooms are recently refurbished, clean, stylish and come with everything you need for a comfortable stay but what really makes Bova stand out is the personable service and the welcome we received along with local knowledge and recommendations. I've yet to stay in a large hotel that goes to this effort with guests. In addition Bova is in a beautiful location just a short walk from the promenade and beach in Lapad, from Gruz harbour and a short bus journey into the old town. ||||I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay out of the hustle and bustle of the old town but who still wants easy access to everything Dubrovnik...

My husband and I just checked out of Bova and we simply loved it! We’re from London and stayed for 2 nights. The room and the building itself are new and everything you need is there. It has a lovely boutique feel and the finishes of the rooms are to a high standard. The breakfasts are fantastic. ||We recommend Bova because: ||- the location is great: it’s within a 10-minute walk to a strip of bars and restaurants, and if you walk to the end of that road everyone’s there at the beach.||- Bova itself looks out on to water when you leave the building or sit out in the front garden so the surrounding area is nice.||- It’s also quite easy to get to the Old City by taking the No.6 bus (10-min walk to the stop).
