HERITAGE VILLA SPINDLER by DuHomes — Hotel in Dubrovnik

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Spindler! The place looked exactly as advertised, it was brand new so everything was new and clean. We loved the pool area, was gorgeous and we enjoyed swims after walking up many stairs on a hot morning. I wish we would have bought a bottle of wine and sat there one night just taking in the views of the city walls. The location is incredible, 5 mins into old town (yes many stairs down into old town, but don't come to Dubrovnik if you don't want to handle stairs lol). To get into the place it was close to the street to be dropped off, and maybe about 10 steps up from the street, which is significantly better than other places I looked into.

Probably the only thing that could improve is the water pressure in the shower- felt more like light rain but by no means would that deter me from staying there. I would note if you are staying in the rooms off the lobby, you can hear people opening and closing doors, but it wasn't constantly happening or anything. And people staying there were also nice and quiet guests. I sleep with ear plugs at night so that never bothered me when sleeping.

We had to check in after the check in time and they helped coordinate for us to come in later. I read a few negative comments about breakfast which I found interesting because I thought there was plenty available each day especially understanding this is not a large hotel with a big kitchen and staff, but a small boutique villa. It included eggs, yogurt, cereal, croissants, fruit, meat and cheese. I generally don't eat a huge breakfast so I thought it...

Absolutely wonderful!

We didn't know what to expect as this place hasn't been open for long but man did we get pleasantly surprised!

We got there veeeery late but they explained how to get there and had left our key for us at the reception. The hotel felt safe as everything was secured by a passcode.

The outdoor area is so nice and quiet, the pool is small but you don't come here to swim but to cool off which we did every afternoon as the days were very hot, they also have cold water at disposal so that's great! There are different seating areas where you can just relax. The flowers are beautiful and if you're lucky the neighbors cat might come say hi!

We had a room with a little terrace which was great. I love the decor of the room and it was very clean. We had water bottles in the fridge, the bedding was very comfortable and we even had slippers in the room.

The breakfast is made fresh every day and it was very good. We stayed 3 nights and experienced 3 different breakfasts so it's very nice that it changes a bit everyday. It's a very healthy breakfast with tasty salads, cold cuts, cheese, eggs on demand, some wraps, sandwiches, fruits, yogurt and other things as well as juices and coffee.

The receptionist was very kind and helpful, she took the time to explain things and chat with us.
