Hostel Cicada — Hotel in Grad Split

My stay at Cicada Hostel from June 15th to 17th, 2024, was easily one of the best hostel experiences I've had in my three months traveling Europe. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by the warmth and attentiveness of Ivone, who went above and beyond to make my stay as enjoyable as possible.

The hostel itself is a tranquil haven in the heart of Split. The peaceful and inviting atmosphere, combined with the impeccably clean facilities, makes it a perfect place to relax and recharge after a day of exploring the city.

The rooms are well-equipped for a comfortable stay. The shared kitchen is spacious and well-stocked, perfect for preparing your own meals or sharing moments with fellow travelers.

There isn't anything I can complain about, Ivona(host) has to be the loveliest person I've ever met, she always had a smile on her face and always offered to make me tea/coffee and made popcorn every morning!, she always made sure that i was having a good time, She also organised a few of my day trips which were amazing!, If you're ever stuck not knowing what to do you can count on Ivona to help you out, she also recommended fife restaurant which was really good! definitely the best hostel I've stayed in!, when i return to split i will without a doubt visit hostel cicada...

Great stay in this little Hostel that feels like home! The owners are really nice and helpful people trying to give the best service possible. I read a lot about the wife but in my case I didn't see her much but the husband, and I can say he is as nice as her trying to make everyone like home and helping you in whatever you need. You have fresh coffee every morning, toilette-shower separated woman from men and a big closet-locker. The location is like 10-15 min from bus and old town. Really recommend this place!
