Booked a room with a shower and breakfast for 2 nights.||Arriving by train we were advised to catch a 100Taxi which would be to the right of the rail station, but none there when we arrived -perhaps because it was Easter Sunday. So we walked which is quite a way. Next time we would have a back up plan by investigating the local bus service, since the bus station is right next to the train station.||Very pleasant welcome. Beautiful atmospheric ground floor with restaurant [which was not open when we stayed here] and breakfast room. Throughout there is a theme of birds. The guy carried our bags up to our room 3 on the 1st floor. Thank you! The stair is a spiral type quite safe and easy to navigate. ||Maps on a table and plenty of info. We were the only guests in, so breakfast time arranged. The owners do not live on site, but phone details are there if there should be a problem-there wasn't.||Nice size light, airy room overlooking the street. Empty fridge, fan and heating with an ante room including desk. Separate toilet to the small shower room.||Everything is clean and well maintained, but the room was not serviced during our stay. A bottle of wine was given gratis. Wifi is free and fast.||||The pension is well located in the old town just around the corner from the main square. Great for exploring the town. It can be noisy through the night, but closing the windows blocks it out.||||Breakfast was a wonderful experience with eggs being cooked for you and also great coffee. A huge choice of other foods, both sweet and savoury. Great quality and a very generous spread. We loved the taped bird calls played in the morning||||Staff organized a taxi for us to return to the station. I have stayed two nights at Hnizdo Snu. Our arrival was very late, around 10pm. That day we left at 3pm from Cesky Krumlov by taxi and took the train from Prague to Hradec Kralove, a long tiring day. At arrival, the staff was very friendly welcoming us and brought our luggage to our room. The room and showerroom is clean and spacious and the interior is cozy and creative. There was a gift for us, a bottle of champagne! So thoughtful! We could tell them the time we would like to have breakfast the next morning and the table was filled with a wide assortment of delicious food for breakfast. The last day when we were back very late, around 12am , the staff helped us to book a taxi to the train station for the next morning at 6am and we could still have breakfast at 5.30am! My trip to Hradec Kralove was not upon expectation as we've ended up spending a lot of time being on the way and in the train, but my stay at Hnizdo Snu made the trip feels worthy and added positive credits to this trip! I believe that the people at Hnizdo Snu do a great job to meet their promises, to make the guest feel great and comfortable as they provide the nest of dreams. Our family stayed here just for one night while in Hradec for a karate event. We was greeted with great enthusiasm by the owner and his wife (I think), who couldn't seem to do enough for us. They had hidden some chocolates in the room for the kids to find and even made a little karate man out of hand and cheese for breakfast for our daughter. The room was big and bright, and the bed was extremely comfortable. They had a simple buffet breakfast in the morning but cooked fresh ham and eggs for myself. We didn't eat in the evening though we were told by some locals that the food was very good. Location wise, it'd perfect, 200m from the main square and cathedral. Hradec itself was surprisingly nice, quiet lively at night though not crazy (saturday).|We will definitely be going back and will again stay at...
