We spent two nights at Hotel Bishop’s House in Prague, and it was the kind of stay you never want to end. Everything about this hotel delivered: the service, the rooms, the location, and above all the sense of kindness and care.||A special mention goes to Helena, who was unforgettable. She welcomed us with warmth, kindness, and an energy that made every guest feel special. I noticed she treated everyone with the same attention and generosity, always ready with recommendations or simply a smile. To put it simply, she killed it with kindness, and that kind of human touch makes all the difference.||The rooms were a highlight. Spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable, with a huge king bed, excellent pillows, and housekeeping that maintained everything to the highest standard. The air conditioning worked perfectly and was individually controlled (a rare find in Europe), and the windows could also be opened for fresh air. An espresso machine and tea setup were provided, which made mornings easy. Even the small touches impressed me, from high-quality toiletries to thoughtful extras like shoe brushes after a rainy day.||Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of variety and a calm, cozy setting to start the day. Everything was managed with ease: no complicated switches, no self-service check-in kiosks, no overdone “concept” gimmicks, just straightforward hospitality, beautifully delivered.||The location is unbeatable. The hotel is literally steps from Charles Bridge, with Old Town just across the river. You can walk everywhere, cafés, restaurants, and all of Prague’s main sights are within easy reach. We only used the tram once (which is steps from the hotel), to go up to the Castle, but even that could have been a walk. Staying here truly put us at the heart of the city.||And beyond the hotel, the city itself added to the experience. The warmth of the Czech people left a lasting impression on us. Everywhere we went, we felt welcomed, comfortable, and cared for. Combined with the hotel’s hospitality, this made our short stay feel truly special.||FYI:|• AC is individually controlled and works perfectly.|• Boutique style hotel with all the amenities you need.|• Breakfast included and excellent.|• Airport transfer arranged smoothly by the hotel.||Prague is a magnificent city, and Hotel Bishop’s House reflects that spirit perfectly. This is hospitality done right: warm, attentive, and effortless. We wished we had stayed longer, and when I return to Prague, there’s no question, I’ll...

We had a great stay at the Bishops House!

LOCATION: Fantastic location, right by Charles Bridge. Walking distance from the Castle, St Vitus Cathedral and Old Town.

ROOM: We stayed in the T4 room in the old tower. I haven’t seen other rooms but would think this might be the coolest room they have. It has 300 year old frescos on the ceiling, an actual bishop’s prayer room, and a little stairway and a hall. They even provided a complimentary Mass wine. Haha. The room is NOT recommended for anyone with mobility issues. You have to climb multiple narrow stairs. But if that’s not an issue, it’s a great room. It’s sold as a quadruple - it was a sofa bed that can sleep two and another bed that is a queen but can be pulled apart to make 2 twins.

BATHROOM: The bathroom is spacious and has a large bathtub. It also has a bidet. The toiletries are ok. Thin consistency.

BREAKFAST: Breakfast is included, which is very nice because Prague is expensive. For a family of 4, that really makes a difference. Food was very nice and fresh. Selection of fruit, cold cuts, cheeses, cereal, breads, as well as hot items. The coffee and tea is available 24/7, which is another perk.

STAFF: Staff was very helpful and friendly, which was a nice change from some very rude people we met in Prague.

Last thing I’ll add - they offer transport service from train station or airport. I think they just partner with a service, so I’m not including the experience in the overall rating.. the driver was supposed to pick us up from the train station. Our train was late and we had a hard time finding the meeting point. Once we located the driver, he was exceptionally rude and aggressive, angry that we were late and loudly complained that we had too much luggage (4 small suitcases and a light, foldable wheelchair - never had a problem in an Uber). I’ve never experienced anything like this before. We were hesitant to use the service on the way to the airport, especially since it was considerably more than what Uber was listed for, but we wanted piece of mind. The driver to the airport was very nice.

Overall, I would 100% recommend Bishop’s House and if we ever return, we’ll stay...

Nestled within the heart of Prague, my enchanting sojourn encompassed three unforgettable nights at the resplendent Bishop's House Hotel. The allure of its proximity to the iconic Charles Bridge, an emblem of timeless beauty, was surpassed only by the culinary delights and vibrant ambiance that surrounded the establishment.

With each morning, a symphony of flavors awaited as the splendid breakfast spread unfolded, a tantalizing prelude to the day's adventures. The hotel staff, a testament to genuine hospitality, wove a tapestry of warmth and attentiveness that transformed my stay into an exquisite experience. Among these stars, Alice shone the brightest.

As dawn's fingers brushed the sky, casting a golden hue upon the city, the time came for our departure—an early rendezvous with the airport. In a gesture that encapsulated the very essence of the hotel's unparalleled service, Alice graced us with her presence outside of her regular hours. A benevolent orchestrator of our farewell, she ensured our journey began with comfort and care, providing us with thoughtfully assembled breakfast bags for the road.

Alice, a fountain of local wisdom, consistently unveiled hidden gems and uncharted pathways, curating our exploration with her invaluable suggestions. Her radiant disposition, an ever-present companion, mirrored the city's effervescent spirit.

With hearts full of gratitude, we extend our appreciation to Alice, the beacon of benevolence, and to the entire Bishop's House team. Your dedication, kindness, and unwavering smiles painted our memories with hues of joy and left an indelible mark upon...

Had an amazing time while staying at Hotel Bishops House! Amazing staff, service, atmosphere and delicious breakfast offerings. Very clean and comfortable rooms and common areas. Close to restaurants, historic sites and shopping most within walking distance of the hotel. A special thanks to Alice, concierge extraordinaire, who made our stay that much better with her wonderful personality and humor. Alice arrived early and stayed late to ensure her guests had what they needed from umbrellas on rainy days to taxi's and to-go breakfast for those checking out before dawn for early morning travel. Thanks Alice and Hotel Bishop for a great experience! We will definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Hotel Bishops House was absolutely incredible. Nothing compares to the service and atmosphere we were offered when we arrived. You also can not beat the location being right off the Charles Bridge which connects you to the heart of Prague. Our stay was truly an unforgettable experience which we recommended to anyone visiting Prague! We are extremely grateful for Mark who made this accommodation possible and for Helena who had insights to the best restaurants and experiences across the entire city! The restaurant Helena recommended (Restaurace Zlatá Hvězda) served the absolute best food we had during our entire stay!
