Old Czech Chimney Cake — Local services in Prague

The shop is very small, with no seating available. To avoid keeping customers waiting, they prepare and serve pre-cooked pastries. As far as I remember, there are 5 or 6 types of trdelník available. The varieties and prices are listed on the wall. You can order the trdelník of your choice by giving its number. If you choose the ones filled with cream or chocolate, make sure to have napkins or wet wipes with you, as they tend to drip and make a mess. The food and drinks in this shop seemed expensive to me. Chimney cake seems to be a traditional Czech specialty, which therefore makes it worth trying. This particular store is located in a lovely part of Prague. I had the strawberry, cream & chocolate chimney cake - which was really nice - but I’d recommend trying another type as I was just eating pure cream for the first few minutes....

My daughter stripped and dropped the cake right outside. They noticed it immediately, helped clean things up, and gave us a new one!
