Café Creperie Pod Věží — Restaurant in Prague

We visited as a couple first, but then our kids had FOMO and we ended up coming back the same day as a family. Everyone enjoyed their crepes, especially crepe Suzette, but unfortunately I got a food poisoning from the Camembert crepes… I started to feel bad almost immediately after and was sick through the morning of next day. Not the best way to spend your vacation. All that being said, it’s a lovely spot, and the server was very sweet, but I’m not sure if their food safety...

Given the popularity of palacinky in the Czech Republic, it was a treat to find a restaurant that serves good crepes. We tried both a savory crepe (bacon, spinach, mozzerala, and egg) and a sweet crepe (chocolate, sweet cream, and chocolate ice cream). We thought both crepes were awesome. Despite being very close to the busy Charles Bridge, this café was an oasis of calm relaxation, good food and attentive service on a hot Sunday lunchtime. We each had a savoury galette (spinach, roquefort, egg and bacon for me, spinach, chicken and brie for himself) followed by a delicious salted caramel ice-cream and a crepe suzette. Decent English tea with milk and homemade lemonade....
