Miele Experience Center Praha — Local services in Prague

Horrible. Our washing machine and dryer got broken at once. On the washing machine the door gasket was broken and from the dryer water was leaking. We were waiting for 3 weeks for any reaction from Miele after reporting our problem. After reminder the service guy came and after he left, from the dryer water was not leaking any more. It was not working at all and reporting a failure which did not report before the service guy was "fixing" it. The Miele service is working only from 9am to 4pm so you have to take a one day holiday from work. Or two days or more when they instead of fixing just destroy your dryer and must come again. I called the service today and they promise to call me and agree on time the service guy will come again. They did not. I promised them to write a review and I keep my promises...

Very unpleasant and unhelpful staff. One would expect that if one wants to spend hundreds of thousands of crowns with them, their staff would be able to help the customer with the purchase. And that they would demonstrate personal touch, friendliness and a bit of a "concierge" approach.

Moreover, the entrance to the parking lot is complicated, you have to go around the whole building. Google Maps or Waze will take you to a place where you can't stop. Go around the building.

You'll be greeted by an unpleasant parking attendant who doesn't speak Czech. You'll park very "wildly".

Add to that other friends' experiences with Miele's failure rate, service and its price, and you're better off staying with other German brands. But the behaviour of the staff at the reception...

I have to say whatever was written before is fixed now. Ive read previous reviews and was quite concerned about customer service. Mr. Čekal was incredibly nice, very knowledgeable and sympathetic, spoke perfect English and helped us with absolutely everything we needed. I can just praise how good our visit was and we will plan all of our appliances with Miele because this made a big difference, besides installing and customer support offered...
