Never had such a bad experience in a hotel. It’s disgusting.
When we first arrived we were after a 10 flight, and all we wanted was to get into bed and take a nap. So we’re in the lobby, and my first impression was probably 50 suitcases in the hallways, ppl of all types talking loudly, some screaming, and then I tried to get to the checkin desk. So there were two women there talking to ppl, and they ignored us. They ignored us for a full 25 minutes till me and my wife decided to start screaming like the rest of the ppl. So I pushed my nose in and they ignored us some more, note that I didn’t really scream, I just wanted to get down to business, my room should be waiting for me and I’m waiting for my room, all I want is to settle down! I couldn’t even sit as all the lobby chairs were occupied!
Now finally one of the disgraceful women looked up, and my wife asked her; what’s taking so long? And this woman got all mad saying; you don’t speak Hebrew, I don’t wanna speak to you!! And I told her plz we’re here for almost 45 minutes and all we want is to check in! My wife gave up at that point and walked away and this witch of a receptionist tells me; your wife is pretty but she has no respect!! After 45 minutes of waiting quietly!!! Disgusting! I would’ve just walked out but like I said we were too tired so we ended up staying.
I finally got to my room, the bathroom was dirty. The building smelled from cigarettes, food wasn’t that good quite overpriced actually.
And overall every employee in the entire building gave attitude to some extent. Some were just straight up rude, nasty for no apparent reason.
The spa is really small, my bed is almost bigger than the swimming pool..! They don't have couple massages. The showers didn’t work! A few times during our stay! And room service didn’t change our linen throughout a 4 night stay.
We put the do not disturb on the door, and the women walked in on me while I was in bed!!!
It should be noted that our room was pretty nice, And that’s the only nice thing I can say.
So overall, it’s a shock to me how this hole has a 4.3 Star rating! It’s a real disgusting experience, I mean it was for me, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone coming here!
(If your Jewish and you were thinking about the convenience then I recommend checking in to anywhere else and eating in the chabad house. It’s clean, u don’t get attitude, and your valued as a customer. Unlike this stupid hotel. Do not come here plz. I beg of you.
(Pictured is my first impression after a long and...
Read moreWe recently stayed at this hotel and had a very mixed experience.||The positives:|Some of the Shabbat dishes were truly delicious. The location is excellent – central and convenient. The staff we encountered were generally friendly and cordial. While the rooms are a bit dated, they were comfortable overall. However, the extra bed provided for our daughter was extremely uncomfortable and couldn’t be used properly when opened.||The negatives:|Unfortunately, the hotel feels overpriced for what it offers, seemingly taking advantage of being one of the few kosher options around. The mikvah was not functional, despite being advertised. A major frustration was around the meal discount policy: we had five additional meals (lunches and dinners), and according to the hotel’s information, this should have entitled us to a 10% discount (each meal was €60). When we asked about it, the receptionist said the discount only applies if dinners are taken every night — even though we did have five meals in total. He refused to credit us or even contact a manager initially (it was before 8 a.m.), and only after insisting did he call the manager, Stephan. Unfortunately, Stephan refused the discount outright and only agreed to “investigate” the claim.||This kind of treatment left us deeply frustrated. It felt more like a rigid policy trap than hospitality. For those who keep kosher, it feels like there’s little choice – and the...
Read moreThere should be a warning sign on every booking site about this hotel. Not because it is that bad, but because it is a hotel made and operated for a very specific type of religion and it is the only one for that in the whole city.. With several strict dietary as well as other restrictions. Breakfast is kosher and kosher only. In a basement without windows and for people not used to the smell, it is impossible to eat. No real coffee, even when you ask and they make you one. And for a cost of $35 per person, it was money wasted, as we did not eat there for the next two days and the room was prepaid. Room was ok, but right next to the entry and just above the busy main street. I asked, and they would not move us. Noise from reception was terrible, as well as from the street and a nearby club. Complaints about the noise provided nothing, other than a simple sorry and no action to help reduce the one in the reception at least or the same kids banging the same doors of their rooms for two days straight. To top it all off, there was a particular bad odor that I have no idea where it was from, but it was everywhere. In a single sentence, if you are not of that particular religion, don't go...
