I stayed here for an extended weekend and I'm quite satisfied. This was around the end of June 2025 Cons: - my room was quite hot. Leaving the windows open wouldn't help so unfortunately I l couldn't sleep much the first night. The next morning I asked if I could get a fan and that same day it was waiting for me in my room, which made the rest of the nights better. - the curtains do not provide full privacy because they are quite separated from the windows. - noise could be a problem for certain people. If you leave the window open you will really hear the tram. That's not a problem for me, though. Pros: - aside from the heat, the room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The beds were comfortable as well. - the location was good and convenient (it's very close to the Tower of powder). - staff was great: they provide automated self-check-in after 9pm but even then a lady helped me with it after I arrived past 10, and especially took care when the system had a problem with my passport. I already mentioned that they brought me a fan very quickly when I asked for it. - I really liked the aesthetics of the building. It's old and nice. - Breakfast was ok for me: there were boiled eggs, cheese, cold cuts, bread, pastries, sausages, veggies, yogurt, cereal, etc. I think it would be nice to have scrambled eggs but perhaps it's not part of their culture. I can recommend this place based on price and value provided. If it had air conditioner I would easily give it five stars.

TLDR: Good room but breakfast could be better. Positives: I liked the location, it was close to the central railway station, central/ Florenc bus station and to the old town square as well (around 10 mins). Both the room and the bathroom were spacious. Although the room looked a little old the bathroom looked like it was recently renovated. The property is being maintained very well. Our room was on the third floor and we had a nice view of the park in front of the hotel from our window. The staff were friendly. Negatives: The breakfast could be a lot better. There were limited options for vegetarians. Would have liked to have something like baked beans, mashed potatoes or pancakes or anything that is not just musli and bread. There was no toaster for the bread which made it very hard to apply butter which was cold as well. The juices were not good and the coffee wasn't appealing either. Another thing I didn't like is that there is a tram line in front of the hotel and the passing trams disturbed my sleep a little. But the trams stop at some point and it is not a big deal to be honest, just a slight inconvenience.

This hotel is a real gem. Watch for the sign which is flat against the building. Walk back a bit and you'll see the entrance. The reception area is on the right. Check in was quick and we got 2 keys room 2306. There's an elevator. We enjoyed the beautiful spiral staircase with oak hand rails and green painted metal slats. The room is carpeted. Heater was on full blast. Bathroom was larger than average. Soap was provided. Beds were comfortable. TV was adequate for our needs. Our room faced the inner courtyard so very quiet. Breakfast is from 7-10 am. Varied selection. I liked the hardboiled eggs and fresh bread with cold cuts. Service in the restaurant was quick and easy. I would recommend this place especially if you are traveling by train, as the main station is only 10 minutes away.

Small room with barely any space either side of the bed so you had to get on the end of the bed and shuffle/crawl to the top - fine for us but older visitors may struggle! ||Very clean room and bathroom. ||Only one pillow which sadly gave me a stiff neck (I’m on day 6 of my travels in Europe now and can finally move my head to the left!). Requested a second pillow but was told housekeeping finished at 3 so would have to wait another night! Really? I’m sure someone has a key to the supply cupboard and could pop one up! Got the second pillow on the third night but they forgot towels!!! Had to literally share the bath mat with my husband to get dry (no point asking reception - no-one is there after 9 unless it is an emergency!). We had to laugh!||Good location for sightseeing but the trams are extremely noisy in the night so if you are a light sleeper, look elsewhere.||Gentleman on reception was extremely informative and very friendly to deal with.||Breakfast was more than adequate and plentiful right up until it finishes at 10am. Again, very clean in that area.||I would stay here...
