I was really disappointed with my meal here. There seems to usually be a queue outside the restaurant during peak hours. Although I was able to skip waiting by taking a table outside which I didn’t mind.
Food: I got the omelet with confit chanterelles. It came with a dollop of their apparently famous whipped butter and a large slice of sourdough bread. The plating of the dish was very nice and photogenic for instagram if you’re looking for that sort of thing. The eggs were soft scrambled, with slightly runny texture inside (my favorite). The mushrooms were cooked nicely as well and not too oily for being confit, topped with lemon zest and thyme. Yet I was unable to enjoy any of it because both the omelet and the mushrooms were extremely over salted. Keep in mind I worked as a line cook in a breakfast restaurant so I know I already have an over salted pallet and tend to like my food salted to the max, yet the amount of salt on this omelette made it inedible. The only thing redeeming about the meal was the whipped butter and sourdough which was really nice and I understood the hype behind it. I had a filter coffee as well but it wasn’t anything special.
Service: It seemed fine, although I didn’t really interact with the staff other than paying at the counter. They seemed a little short when I interacted with them but I understand that when your tables are full with a line out the door.
Atmosphere: It has a very nice atmosphere inside that is cozy but a little chaotic with all the servers running around. Like a lot of places I’ve seen in Copenhagen it has that community aspect where you share tables with other guests which I like.
Price: I paid 190 DKK for the omelette and a filter coffee which I think is definitely too much for what you are getting.
Summary: Overall super disappointed, although I didn’t come in with having high standards due to their low ratings already. I could see this meal being really good and enjoyable as it seems like many people have had a good experience but unfortunately it didn’t hit the mark for me. I wouldn’t steer you away from this place as I think it has the potential for giving you a really good meal, but I would just would go in not having high expectations. If you don’t want to take a chance on this place my suggestion would be to go to Apotek 57 across the street, I had a really good breakfast, coffee and pastries there.

Read moreWe came to this restaurant on a Sunday morning 12.10.2025 and waited in line for about an hour. The place was completely disorganized, staff running around, no coordination at all. When we finally placed our order (tea, coffee, two omelets, and avocado as an extra), things only got worse.
First, we were given the wrong drinks and had to ask several times to get the right ones. Then my omelet came with mushrooms, which I cannot eat(not mentioned anywhere on the menu) and my friend’s order was missing the avocado she had already paid for. When she asked the waitress whose name is Federica about it, the waitress rudely told her to “go ask the kitchen guy herself.” She rolled her eyes, spoke in a very disrespectful tone, and even said, “If you’re having a bad day, maybe you shouldn’t have come here.”
It took around 20 minutes before we finally got the avocado. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told the manager doesn’t work on Sundays and wouldn’t answer calls. Later, the head barista (the only polite person that day) tried to talk to us with the waitress, who instead of apologizing said she’s “only 20” and kept arguing, insisting she did nothing wrong.
The service was chaotic, rude, and completely unprofessional. No one tried to fix the situation or make us feel welcome. The food was very average - definitely not worth the stress. This place ruined our morning. Would not recommend - there are much better options nearby where they actually care about...
Read moreFood is excellent nothing to complain about here so I don't understand all the reviews saying it's bad here. Staff is also very nice and helpful. But it’s still managed as a laid back neighborhood cafe when it attracts people from all over the world (saw close to zero locals even though school has started again and Danes are back from holidays). The result: Confused clients who do not realize they need a table before ordering (maybe a sign would be helpful?) Long lines that could be managed better (cleaning tables took a long time on the day we were there while there was a line of about 10 people on the street). Very performative place where wannabe influencers just shove their cameras and phones into the face of the staff (they are SUPER patient I was very impressed). Overall very nice cafe excellent food but not worth the long lines and weird feeling that you’re not even in Copenhagen but just in a global place that could be anywhere. Maybe it’s different at the other location and this is where I'll...
