This hotel is the worst hotel services I ever received in my life.
Firstly, I booked the airport pick-up service with the hotel 2 days before my trip, the hotel had confirmed about our flight number and arrival time and promised to pick us up, however no body showed up on the arrival day and we have to book another taxi service to get to the hotel.
Secondly, when we arrived at the hotel for check-in, they did not tell us that our room was gone, instead they said we would have a free upgrade to another hotel which is only 3 mins away by car from this hotel and that hotel was also very nice and both hotels are owned by the same owner. The receptionist only showed me a balcony photo of that hotel as she probably also knew that hotel was not as nice and modern as this hotel. Me and my friend just wanted to finish the check-in and started my itinerary, so we took our luggage and went to the other hotel. It turns out that hotel was 12 mins by car away and the hotel was old and outdated. After we checked out this "upgraded" room, we were not happy with the room condition (old and not clean, and the room was on 3rd floor, but no elevator), we wanted to go back to the first hotel, only by then the staff told us there was a repair matter going on in the room we originally booked therefore the room was not available for us anymore (As they were not transparent with us from the beginning about our room, I found it hard to believe it is due to "Repair" issues). We checked the price for this upgraded room online, it was almost same price as the original one we booked, thus it is not an upgrade either. And we also found out that these two hotels are not owned by the same owner. Me and my friend were both really upset and angry about this and we asked for a high compensation, but they say the best thing they can do is either they do a full refund and we need to find an accommodation for the day ourselves or take this room and they can pay for the driver to take us to the museum and drive us back (probably $10 max). They keep saying they have done their best to fix the problem and why we were still upset, in my opinion they have not put in much effort to resolve customers unsatisfaction and they lied to customers for a lot of things from the beginning. We were more being forced to choose the 2nd option because we already missed one of our itineraries due to this dispute and didn't want waste more time on this matter.
We travelled 30 hours from Australia to Egypt and found that our room was gone and we were chucked to another down-graded hotel that we would not book in a million years, this was such an unpleasant experience to start a trip.
If you don't want to risk losing your room and being forced to stay somewhere worse, I suggest you book...

The reception area looks nice and modern. You’re greeted by friendly staff. They give you a welcome drink (fruit smoothie with milk) on the rooftop and explanation of the various types of tours. The staff gave us recommendations for the tours. Ultimately we went for the half day pyramids tour and he offered a special price, though I still found it pricey. (Private half day pyramid tour 12:00-16:00 for 60 euro per person incl lunch and driver). The room had the balcony view overlooking the busy street and pyramids. Although the pyramids are nice, you can also see the pyramids from the rooftop bar, so if I were to stay another time, I would pick the calmer and more silent room on the backside of the building. The room we got (102) had almost no moving room, so it was a nuisance to open our luggage. One on the tv stand and one on the shoe cabinet. Using the room with two people wasn’t the best. There was no chair in the room to sit on, so when you get back from outside, you have to sit with outside clothes on the bed. The furniture is made of cheap materials, so lights were almost falling off the walls, cabinets didn’t close well and painting were peeling off. The bathroom was not well finished and the shower had a rain shower that you could not turn on. So when showering, you had to kneel down to use the small tap to shower yourself. The matras feels very old and some areas of the bed have sunken in so deep from overuse that you might wake up with back pain. The noise from the road outside couldn’t be blocked by simply closing the window/balcony door. If you’re a light sleeper, even earplugs won’t make you sleep much better I think. Don’t count on the gym either. The equipment feels like it almost falls apart, though there are a couple of machines and old dumbbells.
The tour felt overpriced, but the tour guide (lady) was friendly enough. We had lunch at the buffet restaurant a couple meters from the hotel. The lunch was included, but we still had to pay 100 pounds for the drinks. She then took us to the Giza pyramids and gave us information about it. She claimed to be a professor and know a lot about hieroglyphics etc. She took some pictures for us and we could take our time to walk around the pyramids. It was nice enough, but did not feel completely worth it for the price. Though it was nice that we dodged some sellers on the way to the pyramids and avoided getting scammed and bombarded with sellers. She did take us to a place to photograph the sphinx, where other people could not go to.
The breakfast provided by the hotel was good. We could get more omelettes, fruits, water without...

As two girls in cairo, we had an absolutely wonderful time in cairo and it was perfect!!! All because of Gaia Pyramids! Maybe because this is a boutique hotel, i feel like the service is even more customised and personal than big hotel chains making it even better!!!! Best hospitality i’ve ever had.
Amazing hospitality: All the staff are smart and responsive with perfect English. You can trust them with everything. The staff like Mena/Mina and Saif are very helpful, friendly and cheerful. The team is 99% immediately available on WhatsApp and always ready to fulfil all kinds of little requests we have, eg. helping us make our cup noodles, reheating our food, helping us check our water temperatures. Packed us big breakfast bags and juice every morning before we go off to our tours. Even switched and changed our entire TV at 9pm in the evening because we want to watch netflix!!! And gave me complimentary ice cream at like 10pm at night when i wanted to see if the hotel was selling any!!!!!!!! :D
Organised the best tours for us in our 4 days in Cairo - the tour guide was absolutely amazing, licensed, with good English, knowledgable and professional. You can tell he did this for a very long time. One of my guides is even an archaeologist in Cairo. Maintains good boundaries and gave us free time appropriately. Communicates everything with a great flow introducing the history to us in an easy and understandable way. No scamming/ hard selling and we felt so safe and had the best time. Never forced us to buy anything and gave us liberty to choose how we want to visit different spots as we like. And for a price that is super fair compared to other guides out there who charge nearly double… This is absolutely much better than booking with any other guides out there because through the hotel, they know exactly who is taking us where, ensures the guides are licensed, and when to expect us to be back.
I really cannot recommend this hotel enough. The hotel rooms are also very clean and we had a super beautiful and unobstructed view looking at the pyramids! The rooftop is even more breathtaking and super chill. Their fruit juice is also so fresh...
