Nozol Pyramids View -An absolute must stay!
The morning of arriving in Cairo we soon after arrived at our 1st hotel near the pyramids. We found the room not “fully / accurate” as advertised and were unsatisfied and disheartened..
We searched the immediate area, again with our initial requirements of rooftop with pyramids view, bedroom with balcony and a budget around USD130 per night.
We discovered Nozol Pyramids View Hotel and took a short Uber to request available rooms and to view them in person.
This hotel ticked all the boxes.. We spent 4 wonderful nights there and we cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The room and building ticked the boxes but of course it is the Staff who ultimately make or break an experience.. Friendly greetings and conversations were had whenever we left, arrived or went to enjoy the great food options on the roof top with its brilliant view. Even as South Africans, Cairo can be a “culture shock.” We were let down by some of the outside service providers like Taxis or on a spice / curio buying excursion etc, when trying to be independent- but Nozol were there to kindly pick up the pieces and rectify others mistakes..
I should add that 1 of our preferences was to enjoy a venue with a typical pool- which Nozol PV does not have. (They do however have large cold / hot Jacuzzis should you wish.) However, when I return to this fascinating country and I will - this will not deter me and I will not hesitate from choosing Nozol PV again. I almost omitted to mention. If you are coffee lovers like us- you may be interested to know they have a professional industrial Nespresso machine that offers all conceivable variations, included in the breakfast price. This brought a tear to the writers eye! All in all How fortunate to find a Hotel that means you never have to search for another again when visiting..
Our many thanks to the entire team (too many to mention by name) that were so hospitable to us. We are so grateful! Shukran...

But the management is dishonest. If they are giving you change, they short you juuuust a little. If you’re paying them, they charge a little extra.
Everything is a game. Everything is a scam. They give you some bs price and watch your eyes to see if you’re an idiot. If you don’t know any better, they rip you off with a smile.
If you do know better, they play stupid and pretend something happened and they can give you a better price. It’s all a game and it’s EXHAUSTING! You never know with these people if you’re getting screwed or not and it makes it impossible to enjoy your time there.
I’m talking like a $42 a night room for $100 USD a night. That’s the kind of bs they are doing there. They are always trying to play games and trick you with everything. A few dollars here, a few dollars there. Big gouges when they can get away with it.
Plus, the only really excellent thing about the place was the manager when I first got there. Anything I needed, he was there. Internet not working, got it. Issue with the room, on it. He even made sure I was getting fair prices and not being over charged.
Annnnnd he left the hotel. Either they fired him or they couldn’t keep good staff. But he was the only reason this place was truly exceptional. Now he’s gone and there’s no reasons to stay there.
Dishonest management. Can’t keep good staff. Price gouging. No thanks.
The irony is, I have money. I would have stays for 2 months, book all the tours, did everything. They screwed themselves over by...
Read moreWe chose a Junior suite with a Jacuzzi, but it didn't go as we expected, the boiler used to fill the Jacuzzi is the same one used for the bathroom, and it is not that big, so it fills 10 percent of the Jacuzzi and then You have to wait till the boiler fill again, meanwhile you can't even have a shower too. even though when you fill the Jacauzzi the room will be steamed and the water evaporation will fill the room and everything in the room will be Wet or Humid. The staff tried to bring boiled water from the kettle to fill the Jacuzzi, but it needed 100 kettles to do so, unfortunately, this plan didn't work too. The breakfast wasn't good at all and it caused me pain, boiled eggs were reboiled again for days as it was blue from the inside and not Yellow as we know The price of the hotel is still high for one night and for the service provided. But to be honest, after complaining they refunded 45 % of what I paid (1900 LE) ( I have reserved just one night costs around 4100 LE The Location of the Hotel is special, it is so close to the pyramids, and driving the car there is not difficult The room was clean and neat and had a lot of Bathroom kits
Overall, it is a new hotel and the concept is great but it needs improvement and to consider...
