PROS: The location is great in terms of traveling in Cairo. The breakfast is nice and the shower itself is great with good pressure and temperature. The staff are very friendly and the lobby is a nice place to be. The room was very big but I'm not entirely sure if that was a good thing for everyone. CONS: Unfortunately there are quite a few issues with this hotel which makes me unable to recommend this hotel. - Most noticeably the cleaning was very bad. For a hotel with a supposed 5 star rating of which I have stayed in a few, this was by far the worst cleaning in the five star standards (would be sufficient for a 3.5 star hotel). Some examples were, when we first arrived we found a used plaster with hairs on it in the bathroom which we left thinking they would clean it the following day however the plaster was still there in plain sight for the full 7 days we were at the hotel. I did not move it myself just to see whether the cleaning is actually done which was obviously proved not the case. The surfaces were dirty and when checked , you could see the same stains. I had muddy shoes which I cleaned and it left a lot of mud on the floor. This also remained in the same place for a few days so they do not even hoover the rooms. I had a pillowcase on one of 4 pillows which was dirty and was covered in lint balls when I arrived. As I only use one pillow to sleep I did not need it. A few days into the trip the same pillowcase was on the pillow on my side of the bed which I was very appalled at as this along with all the other cleaning issues quite clearly suggested the bedding was not changed. The cleaners also do not throw your rubbish away and leave your belongings in an orderly manner if you've left the room in a little bit of a mess. - The bathroom is very outdated. No fan so when you have a shower you cannot use the mirror as it steams up. The shower is in a bath which is dirty and old but the shower itself is fantastic. - The balcony isn't big enough to sit down. Its a about 1 meter by 0.5 meters in width so only good for standing occasionally. - If you're a light sleeper this isn't the best hotel for you as the sliding doors do not do a great job at keeping the traffic and horning noises out. - Many issues with our key card for the room. Did not detect the card a lot of times and we ended up with 6 cards at the end of the trip as we kept having to get a new one. - There are no other amenities to the hotel. The pool was not in use and even if it were in use we wouldn't have used it as it did not look that pleasant.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Safir Cairo and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation, particularly to Fatima from the housekeeping team and the exceptional reception staff, who made my stay truly memorable. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The reception team went above and beyond to ensure a smooth check-in process, answering all my questions and providing valuable suggestions for exploring the local area. Their professionalism and attentiveness left a lasting impression on me. During my stay, the cleanliness and tidiness of my room were outstanding, all thanks to Fatima’s impeccable housekeeping skills. She maintained a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every corner of my room was spotless and inviting. Coming back to a beautifully made bed and neatly organized amenities truly made me feel pampered. I also want to commend the hotel on its overall ambiance and amenities. The facilities were well-maintained, and the common areas exuded elegance and comfort. The dining options were diverse and offered delicious cuisine that satisfied my taste buds. I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Safir to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay. The reception team’s unparalleled service truly make this hotel stand out. Thank you all for your outstanding efforts in ensuring a fantastic experience. I look forward to my next visit to Hotel Safir.

Wow! I was incredibly impressed by this hotel. Its “retro opulence” aesthetic, especially in the room, radiated an 80s/90s dated aura but I found it charming. The staff are very hospitable and attentive- do tip them well! The breakfast buffet lounge had infinite selection of hot and cold food- simply marvellous! There are multiple restaurants and a great cafe within the hotel. The outdoor swimming pool, the lounge chair and the shower facilities were top notch. There is a poolside snack bar which I did not sample. The room amenities (toiletries, towel, robe etc) were generously available. The beddings in the room were plush, room was immaculately clean, the snack bar in the room may not have been updated regularly, but it was not a deterrent. Overall, I highly recommend this 5 star hotel not only for its great value, but for its great staff and the warm hospitality extended to the guests.

During my recent stay at Safir hotel in Dokki, I had the pleasure of dining at the hotel's exceptional restaurant, and I must say, it was an absolute culinary delight. From the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant, I was greeted warmly by the staff and instantly felt a sense of warmth and hospitality. Special thanks to Nadia Mariam Hala Amera and Nasf The ambiance of the restaurant was elegant yet inviting, with tastefully decorated interiors and soft lighting that created a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. The seating arrangements were comfortable and well-spaced, providing privacy without compromising on the overall dining experience.

Now, let's talk about the food. The menu boasted an impressive variety of dishes, showcasing both local and international breakfast. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted, using high-quality ingredients that resulted in flavors that were both rich and memorable. From the bakery to and dessert, every dish I tried was a true masterpiece.

One particular standout was fava beans with a lemon and herbs. The omelette were cooked to perfection, tender and succulent. The open buffet also offered a range of vegetarian and vegan options, ensuring that everyone's dietary preferences were catered to with equal finesse.

The service throughout the meal was impeccable. The waitstaff were attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to offer recommendations or answer any questions we had. They were genuinely passionate about the food they served, and their enthusiasm was contagious.

Overall, my experience at the hotel restaurant was exceptional. From the warm welcome to the delectable cuisine and impeccable service, every aspect exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend Safir hotel and restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience during their stay at the hotel. Whether you're a guest or a local resident, you're in for a treat.

Kudos to the entire team at the hotel restaurant for creating an exceptional culinary haven. I cannot wait to return on my next...
