recently visited Sapporo Japanese Restaurant and had a mixed experience. The service was fantastic, and the hibachi chef was entertaining, making the dining experience enjoyable. However, the food quality left much to be desired for the price.

My friend ordered chicken and beef, and while the hibachi cooking was fun, they mentioned the flavor was just okay—nothing special. The sushi, unfortunately, didn’t live up to the expectations given the restaurant’s location and pricing. It was mid-tier at best.

As for my order, I had the salmon and seabass hibachi. The salmon was just okay, but for the price point, I expected a much higher quality. The seabass, on the other hand, was inedible. I couldn’t even swallow one bite—it was that bad.

On a brighter note, the draft Heineken was perfect and refreshing.

One major concern I had was the chef using the same tools for raw chicken and other foods without wiping or switching utensils. This raised some hygiene concerns for me, and I believe it would improve the overall dining experience if they addressed this.

In summary, while the service and atmosphere were good, the food quality and hygiene practices need improvement, especially for the...

My girlfriend and I went here for a nice dinner while on vacation at their hibachi style grill. The service and atmosphere were great. It seemed to be a nice place for an upscale dinner. The chef we had was attentive, entertaining and overall great.

BUT, my girlfriend and I have been sick with what seems to be food poisoning for the last few days. After eating here we both got very upset stomachs, vomiting nausea and diarrhea. We are not sure what specific food there caused this, we ordered American beef filets, fried rice, noodles, California rolls and chicken gyoza. Regardless of what caused it, I would not recommend eating here as it made us extremely sick and caused issues with our travel. The chef was great during the cooking process, I would guess it was a bad ingredient as I did not see any cross contamination or anything. He was also very kind, we liked the chef a lot.

It is a shame that something we ate here was bad because it would have been a great experience otherwise. This has been a miserable experience and it WILL negatively impact your travels or vacation if you get...

I was visiting Cairo and read this restaurant has the highest review rating, so I decided to go 2 straight days for dinner. Love it !

After ordering my first day both the Big Boss Roll and Dynamite Roll, I had to go back the next day and try different rolls and they didnt disappoint.

On my next day visit, I was welcomed by Asmaa. Her lively and welcoming attitude reinforced why I decided to come back. She was really nice, gave me suggestions and always came back to check on us how we are doing. Btw, thank you for being so nice with my 6yr old son. He enjoyed the experience as much as we did.

I ordered several different sushi rolls, and even sat at the hibachi table, where there was a lively presentation from Chef Karim preparing our food and my kids loved it. My server, Dalia was a treat. She was delightful and attentive and was always coming back to check on us.

Loved the attention to detail, love the food. I wouldnt hesistate to come back to Cairo just to enjoy this experience...

We are so glad to meet a charming waitress Mariam, cheerful bar tender Mohamed and professional Japanese chef Komatsu provided us a warm and friendly service, they try their best to satisfy customer’s needs. (Nico/Malaysia,Leo/China) I’m so happy that I got a best noodle in Egypt, I’m a typical fan of noodles, I was craving to noodles while traveling in Egypt. Luckily I found a great place for a delicious soup noodle. Food are excellent, I appreciate that Chef Komatsu had improvise a caramel-salmon sushi for us, it tasted really good. Mohamed is an artist bar tender, he has a thousand creative ways to create something unique. Few little things by personal opinion. 1. Edamame are a bit over cooked. 2. Grilled eel is not as juicy as I thought. Sometimes eel sushi can be very creamy and aromatic. 3. Cocktails are fancy, but we expect them thicker flavor. Maybe next time we can try a little less ice, it would be perfect.

Very poor, the chow mein was a mess, and the service was very poor, if this is a Japanese restaurant, not at all like the service you experience when in Japan. We ordered the American style meat eye, which smelled like blood and was hard to swallow, and the sushi was very bad, I rarely order to write a review, but the meal that night was just awful, so I'll review it. The service was also poor, we were two and did not remove the cutlery from the other two places, resulting in the table being very cramped and unable to place all the dishes, I ended up having to give up my own plate
