Hotel Review: Hôtel Elysée Etoile - Paris
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hôtel Elysée Etoile in Paris, and I must say that my overall experience was exceptional. The standout feature of this charming property is undoubtedly its prime location. Situated just a two-minute walk from the iconic Arc de Triomphe and nestled right in the heart of the Champs-Élysées area, the hotel offers unparalleled convenience for travelers looking to explore Paris' main attractions. Additionally, the proximity to the RER Metro Station, just a couple of minutes away, makes it incredibly easy to access the entire city effortlessly.
The hotel itself exudes warmth and professionalism. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a welcoming and attentive staff who ensured that every aspect of my stay was comfortable. The property is impeccably maintained, with cleanliness and upkeep being top-notch—a crucial factor for any traveler.
While the room I chose was on the smaller side, as is often the case in Paris, it was thoughtfully designed and equipped with excellent facilities. The heating system was perfectly calibrated, keeping the room cozy during my stay, and the small but functional bathroom was clean and well-maintained. While it lacked some traditional accessories, such as individual toiletries, it provided the essentials, including liquid soap and a hairdryer, which sufficed for my needs.
One of the most impressive aspects of Hôtel Elysée Etoile is its affordability. Considering its central location in one of Paris' most prestigious neighborhoods, the price point is incredibly reasonable, making it an excellent choice for both leisure and budget-conscious travelers. Being able to stay so close to iconic landmarks like the Champs-Élysées at such a value is truly a highlight.
In summary, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hôtel Elysée Etoile and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paris. While the room size may be modest, the combination of a fantastic location, professional service, and exceptional cleanliness more than makes up for it. This hotel is a hidden gem for travelers looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of Paris while staying comfortably and affordably. I will definitely consider returning on my next trip to the...
Read moreJust back from a last minute one night trip to Paris with my two girls ages 7 and 5, we booked a triple room which consisted of a double bed beside a single bed, the girls loved that the windows opened fully and I enjoyed the views of the beautiful Parisienne architecture. We slept very well on the beds, the location is excellent, our the hotel, turn right and straight up to Ave Wigram which is so close to Arc De Triompe and Charles de Gaulle Etoile Metro centre for easy access to everything. My girls were so tired from all the trekking the first day that I had to drag them to breakfast at 9:10, it finished at 9:30 but the hotel had no issue and replenished all the food for us. Breakfast 10ish for adult, free for children. ||Hoyle happily stored our bags before and after we arrived. Check in 2pm, check out 12pm. It is a small compact room with a complimentary bottle of water but no tea/coffee facilities, just a hair dryer and shampoo/gel in a bottle on the wall. Space tight in room but for my kids who love lying on the bed it was perfect, 3 adults would have a problem manoeuvring in the room. ||We had a great stay, staff so friendly and nice, I had to pop back before departing to charge my phone for airport boarding passes etc and I did that in the foyer with a coffee. My girls had an amazing time and on their eyes it was a fancy hotel but for me it was a really good 2 star. I’d give it more. I’d rate this a great hotel for quick trips and for someone who wants a good location and won’t spend too much time in the room. It’s clean and comfortable and does the job, somewhere to rest your head with...
Read moreI cannot say a bad thing about this hotel. I think it’s really great for the price. The rooms are small, but the bathroom was surprisingly more spacious than I thought it would be. Even though the rooms are small they do have a good amount of hooks and they really try to use the space as best as possible. I do feel it is functionally designed well. We did not pay for the breakfast, especially because there are plenty of boulangeries and pastry shops nearby.
The service was really great. The only thing is sometimes they lock the front door to the hotel if the desk person steps away and then you have to wait a few minutes so that was unfortunate because we had to wait in the cold and we never knew how long they would be.
Location 10/10 it’s a few blocks from the Arc de Triomphe and a couple metro stops. It’s also on the less touristy side so you don’t have to pay the tourist prices.
10/10 recommend. The next time I will be in Paris I will be looking to stay here again. I might even pay for a bigger room and having a little bit more space since it’s hard to come by space in Paris.
The hotel does have a tiny little lobby if you go out for breakfast or lunch and you want to bring back your coffee and sandwich they were really nice about that.
The walls were a little thin, but they do provide you earplugs. Also, if the window is open at night, you might hear people on the street and the garbage truck come by early in the morning.
It’s in a super walkable area and I would say pretty safe, especially with somebody always being at the...
