I would highly recommend you to go another restaurant if you want to enjoy your dinning. This place will ruin your taste and mood.

It was our last meal in Paris. compared to other restaurant, the price is high in terms of quality of food and service. You will get two main dishes with two drinks at around 40 Euro and you would get the more quality food in another restaurant at the same price and the taste of onion soup was like eating ashes and the snail itself burned out. Everything looks overpriced and under average. Even I left most of them on my plate and ran to another restaurant.

The staff was rude once he got an order. He just teased us. It was super uncomfortable. I am not sure I was the only one that I didn’t have the water on my table because it seemed everyone else has it but he put the dirty water glasses only on our table. The waiter miscalculated and gave wrong amount to us at the first. I assume that he intentionally gave wrong amount to us and took his tip.

Further information for foreign readers : you don’t get the english menu

Please don’t go here and you will have better experience even in the next...

Never posted a negative review ever but this place deserves it! Would give zero if possible!!

We arrived here around 1230 at night after touring Paris. My wife and I ordered beers each but our son decided not to. Our waitress took our order but we were kept waiting while she served others!

Obnoxious, but ok we decided to just be polite and wait. After a while this manager person (slimy character if there ever was one) comes around asking if we ordered! So we tell him we already orders 2 beers but are waiting.

Next thing he goes: just the 2 beers that’s it? But you are 3 people. BTW the place was practically empty. Obviously we are shocked to here this when it was not made clear when we ordered. My son says he’ll leave. We’re here to spend time with him before he goes off to college and these garbage ppl let him leave. No apologies or sorry our mistake we can accommodate this time. Of course when the waitress brought our beers and no remorse shown we walked out. Disgusting people, and if this is the custom, disgusting custom as well. Shameful, very...

I love Paris and have spent a lot of time here and rarely have what others consider “bad” experiences, but this place is unbelievable. I went in admittedly to get in from a bad rain storm but sat in the “Café” section and ordered a café crème and water. It was without doubt the worst cup of coffee I have had in France in 20 years. It literally tasted like dishwater. My water came in a shot glass. I drank it and asked my waiter for the check. 10 minutes went by, no check, so I got up and started putting on my coat. The captain came up and I asked him for my check and he said it was 4 euros and something. I gave him 5 and left a small tip. I left and as I was crossing the street, my waiter chased me down (the one who never brought me my me my bill) and said I still owed money because a café crème was 6 euros. Unreal. I gave him two more euros in the middle of the street. If my French were better I would have argued, but it didn’t seem worth it, but I advise you to...

We popped in for lunch before visiting Eiffel Tour but didn’t left very pleased. First was looking our waiters was visibly bothered by our 5month old and his recommendation didn’t was the best. Make my wife changing his food choice cause he thought she don’t now was is tartare and my steak was well over priced. Was 19€ in the Menu and told me actually will be 24€ just to discover at the end i was charged 34€. Anyway we order a shared plater to start with and he bring it with the mains and we end up with it in the box cause didn’t was any point to start with it and leave our expensive mains to get cold :(. When questioned why he bring it all together told us we didn’t said nothing. Anyway the food was decent but the service can be drastically improved.

We stopped by here on the way to the train after seeing Napoleon's tomb. We were able to get seated quickly. The server was attentive and didn't rush when we finished. I got the steak with fries. The gravy it had a pepper in the sauce was very good. I will note that it seems rare in France is more like a blue in America. So if you want rare going with medium rare might be best. My wife got the truffle burger which had was good with the brie. The bordeaux was good as the the cappuccino. We got the butter crepe and crepe flabmées for desert. The price definitely caught up by the end. Not the cheapest place we've been on the trip but it was convenient for the days plans.

Amazing restaurant with the most mouth watering food. Beautiful atmosphere day or night. Highly recommend. Special mention to the best waiter in Paris David! I have been to many restaurants around the world and can honestly say David's service, attentiveness, & attitude was simply superb!! He brought the food board over to us to explain the specials in English one by one and recommended I have the Sea Bream (which was delicious btw) The best waiter we have ever had anywhere! Make this man a manager !
