Smoking Mirrors, bad customer service This was the biggest letdown that I have had in a while. I booked this hotel for my last two days in France, specifically for the "view of the Eiffel Tower room" that they offered. My girlfriend had never been to Paris so I wanted to give her the best two days that she could have while there. We get there, find parking (which is a NIGHTMARE), get checked in and up to the room, only to find out that the room DOES NOT HAVE A VIEW OF THE TOWER. I immediately take the single person elevator (and I mean small person) down and talk to the guy at the front desk about the issue. When I explained to him that the room he put us in was NOT THE ROOM THAT I BOOKED AND PREPAID, he said, "Well, I am sorry but we do not have any tower view rooms available for the next two days, I do not know what to tell you." I complained and explained about the girlfriends first time in Paris and how I specifically booked this hotel and room because of the view and how I pre-paid for it and he again told me that there was nothing that could be done because all of the tower view rooms were full. He said, "If you would like, you can talk to the manager tomorrow but that is not going to change the fact that there are no tower view rooms available." I will have to say, not only was I pissed that I paid $1200 for two nights, for a room that I did not get to stay in but the attitude just made matters worse. MY ADVICE, STAY CLEAR OF THIS HOTEL AND THEIR HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This is the perfect boutique hotel to book if you are visiting Paris and want to be close to all the must see sights. If you book the right room you also get Eiffel Tower views which was amazing. It’s a short walk to Champ De Mars and the Ecole Militaire Metro stop. As for the cons, even though the rooms were small, I think they have enough space to add a small fridge. Also, if you have a huge luggage, beware the elevator will only fit one person at a time (with luggage), possibly two (without). And the WiFi can also be spotty at times.

I can confirm general comments of other reviewers...small dated rooms, friendly and helpful professional staff, convenient location for Eiffel Tower sightseeing, and convenient to bank ATM (for local currency withdrawals from your US bank), numerous restaurants, other shops, and very close to the Paris Metro public transportation with easy access to airports (CDG and Orly, etc).

Clean hotel. Good location. This was a last minute booking. Like booked it on the plane heading to Paris. The hotel lobby was very warm. We arrive around 1:30 pm. I had requested early check in if available. When we arrived I was told it was not possible. If I had booked with the hotel directly I could have requested it. But since I booked it with booking.com I couldn’t request? When I booked it had a bag for any hotel requests. Which I used. Anyway no big deal. I understand check in wasn’t until 3 pm. They held our bags and we went to explore. ||This is a good location. Close to restaurants, shops and the Eiffel Tower. Also very close to the metro stop. We got back around 5 and checked in. The room was also extremely hot and the air conditioning was turned off. We put it back on. And it seemed to be fine. We changed went back out for dinner. During the night the air kept turning off. We would have to get up and turn it back on. This was only a one night stay so when checking out the next day they asked how my stay was. I mentioned the air conditioning kept turning off and asked if it was motion activated. I was told no. And I should have called down to the front desk and they could have manually turned it on? Seemed kind of weird and who thinks of that half asleep. ||Breakfast was small. Croissants and some breads. Small plate of meats and cheeses. I don’t think it was worth the extra money. Probably would have been better to get something on the way to the airport. All in all a decent place....

I rarely write a review . My wife and I have been to Europe many times, but this was our first trip to Paris . We spent 4 absolutely wonderful days and nights in Paris and enjoyed our stay immensely . Much of this was because of Hotel Le Cercle - the staff and the hotel itself . This place is very special . It is a small boutique hotel that is well located on a wonderful street and a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and the River Seine . Close to many very good restaurants and a market type street( RueCler) 2 blocks away. Metro steps away. The upper rooms on the street side have a great view of the Eiffel Tower. Breakfast every morning more than adequate for us . Rooms are small, but well organized and very comfortable . Service and staff are delightful and very helpful . Really really nice staff. The lift / elevator is tiny and holds 1 person or 1 suitcase at a time, but this adds to the charm of this hotel . It is perfect for couples and teens , but I would say not the best place for young children or large families . Also the hotel is pristine and spotless. My wife and I give it our highest recommendation without restriction , especially for couples. We would stay here again in...
