I never leave a bad review for a restaurant but this is an exception. This place is VERY BAD.
first of all, don't believe the high star reviews, the food here is very overpriced, a bowl of ramen was over 12 euros and I got a tiny bowl of noodles with a salty broth, the ramen was like instant noodles, a few bamboo shoots and some pieces of vegetables, I tried adding pepper and chili oil to make it spicy but it didn't work, it was just salty, very salty. The meat was okay, btw.
secondly, the service of this place is the worst in my years of living in paris. When I tasted my takoyaki, it was burnt on the outside but undercooked on the inside, I called the waiter and he said “oh i also found it overcooked”, I asked him to do something about my food, cook it again or whatever. I was very polite and expected the kitchen to do something about my food. He took the plate away and came back a while later with a woman (who seemed to be the manager). She didn’t speak english or french and used “tu” with her customers, and was rude and condescending. I asked for the dish to be redone and she kept trying to say something that no one understood. I told the other waiter that I wanted another plate and he nodded. I waited a long time, then when I cannot wait longer, I got up and then a waiter said my new plate ( that was place on the counter, without anyone care to bring it to me) was ready???. Really, the only problem was that my plate was badly cooked and they could have replaced it but it was a waste of time and ruined my diner. The food was acceptable after that.
then, when paying, my friend and I only wanted to pay for what we eat . I had a bowl of ramen and takoyaki, and she only had a bowl of ramen. I told the woman ( that stand at the counter) that we only wanted to separate the bill, I pay my dishes, she pay hers (in both english and french), the woman nodded. when we finished paying, we realized SHE DIVIDED OUR BILL IN HALF??!!
Again with a bad attitude, she tried to explain something, no one understood. I told another waiter about this and he said “You need to pay your friend the 3.40 euro” (our difference). Ridiculous, why should I be responsible for the restaurant staff’s mistake???? It’s terrible!!
I left with anger. The way they work, handle situations is terrible, they make you look like the villain and make things difficult for them when they are the ones who make you angry. Working in a restaurant in Paris but can't communicate in French or English!! Don't come here if you don't want a...

✅Ambiance: 9/10 Sapporo is a cozy Japanese restaurant with two branches in Paris—one on Rue Saint-Anne and another on Rue Saint-Honoré. I’ve been to both locations, and the ramen tastes just as good at either spot. What stands out here is the consistently friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, the staff always greet you with a smile, making the experience all the more enjoyable.
✅Food: 5/5 I always order the Tonkatsu Ramen—both the spicy and the normal versions—and I have to say, it’s one of the best I’ve had in Paris. The broth is incredibly rich and flavorful, and the ramen itself is satisfying. Personally, I prefer the normal Tonkatsu Ramen, but both options are great. What’s even better? It’s the most affordable ramen I’ve found in Paris, making it an absolute steal for the quality.
✅Service: 5/5 I’ve been coming here since 2021, and no matter how many times the staff changes, I’ve never encountered a grumpy face. Everyone is always so friendly, and the positive vibes make it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal without any stress. Pro tip: Go before lunch or dinner times to avoid the crowd and enjoy a more relaxed dining experience.
Key Notes:
• Best spot for affordable, delicious ramen in Paris • Consistently great service, even with changing staff • The Tonkatsu Ramen is a must-try, with a rich broth that’s hard to beat • Ideal to visit just before peak hours for quicker seating and a quieter experience
