Do not book here. Absolute disaster. The room and hallway to our room flooded. We have no idea how it happened. It was not a trickle down the wall, it was fully wet from the front door to the bathroom to the desk. Not only did our stuff got wet but the front desk at the time was incredibly rude. He called the manager since this happened at 6 in the morning, and when I asked what the manager said and about a refund, he said "you think we won't give you a refund? We have more money than you." I told him that all I thought was he was being rude, and he answered "so what, you think this is America? Go back to America." He didn't apologise (not that I blame him for the leak) or even act sympathetic. He looked angry and upset, and when I asked for his name, he replied with "I don't care my name" and refused to tell me. I only saw two staff at front desk, the manager who was very nice and this incredibly rude man who still refuses to give me a name or treat me respectfully. A shame because the hotel while old was clean and in a great location. I had hoped it would be a better experience. Update: manager was friendly, apologised, and gave refund. She and the other female receptionist was very friendly. Only the man was incredibly mean and disrespectful.

Location is key here and this hotels location is impeccable. The room is decent and has all basic amenities such as hot water, hair dryer, tv, wifi. We have windows facing other windows inner courtyard so no view but with natural light. Not much to it and it’s okay just for sleeping after your full day tours and eating out. We didn’t take the breakfast at 11 euro per pax as dining are feels crampy while you’re surrounded with a lot of bistro. The man at the reception is warm and friendly and speaks really good english. The elevator only fits 2 without luggage. Or 1 pax with luggage. So this is not highly recommended with small children, trolleys. The facade or pavement outside is broken with construction. The taxinor uber cant drop you exactly in front because it’s narrow street so you’ll walk maybe 50 meters from nearest pick up or drop.

Exceeded expectations. Very clean and comfy room. Spacious quad sharing room. Room and bathroom equipped with all the basic things you’ll need. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Had an old school lift, those you see in old European buildings. Thought it added charm. Great location, 2 min walk to Palais Royal, 5 minutes to the Louvre, plenty of restaurants nearby. It’s not a big brand and they don’t claim to be luxury so don’t expect it to be fancy. It’s a great value for money, would stay here again.

This was the hotel that more disappointed me during my trip to Europe in June (I stayed in 5 hotels). The pics at the website are not realistic! Even though the price was not high like other fancy hotels, I still paid + $1500 euros for 5 nights. I know that some European hotels are very old, and I’m not complaining about that. But I had bad luck with my double bed room. The bedspreads and blankets looked dirty, and had stains. The sheets were very worn and the towels too. The bathroom was spacious but also looked dirty. I checked under the beds, it was very dusty!|The worst part comes now: everyday during the morning and afternoon from the bathroom area, maybe from the windows came a strong garbage odor, literally I had to close the door of my bathroom and spray some perfume. Also some mornings I woke up with loud noises because I think in one area of the hotel they were doing some reparations. No AC in the hottest days in Paris, not good idea. Thanks they had a fan in the room. Also it was ridiculous that next to the beds we didn’t have any outlets, we had to charge our phones in the bathroom, or disconnect the TV on the wall. |Now this is curious for me, everytime we left the hotel we had to leave our room key at the front desk. Then they had a sign that they were not responsible for any lost in the room and they had a security box in the office? Thanks that we didn’t loose anything .|So far the positives: hotel very central, easy walking. In the area were some Asian restaurants as well. |I loved Paris, but...

Location is the best benefit of this small but very comfortable hotel. Metro entrance is 2-steps away, all places to visit are really close, the stops for hop-on/off busses are also so close to the hotel. Louvre is only 2 min walk away, park Tuileries, Grand Opera, Rivoli street with all souvenirs shops. A lot of cafes and restaurants for all budgets are also located near by. The place itself is small but VERY cozy, staff speaks good English and always happy to assist you where necessary. Rooms are small, but very clean and tidy. We were looking for the place just to sleep over night, and didn’t require luxurious room in the city where most of the time you spend outside. So, this hotel was the BEST what we got in wonderful and convenient location. We are very much grateful to the hotel personnel who made our stay really comfortable. The best thing which we didn’t expect in such small hotel – was the lift. Yes, it was small, but it was there!! And it was working! Believe me, it’s really helpful when room is on the 4th floor, and climbing upstairs is truly exhausting, with luggage and 5-year old kid. ||Note for travelers: safe deposit box is NOT included in room price, and located at the reception desk. If you travel during warm season – there is NO AC, but you can open windows, to let the fresh air in, and turn on fans. BUT, be aware of mosquitos, you should take care of fumigation (as we didn’t, our kid left the hotel quite bitten). For breakfast – I’d suggest to choose Baguett's Café, located...

Hysterical woman at the reception, horrible customer service. Our reservation was cancelled by the hotel 2 days before our stay with no explanation - we had reserved 5 rooms for the 14/12/22. When I called reception to calmly ask what the issue was, the woman on the phone was very angry, kept repeating it's not her problem to solve and that she was very busy. She eventually put me on hold, stating there were a lot of people at reception and that she didn't have time for me. Luckily I was already in Paris, so I went directly to the hotel to try and solve the problem in person. When arriving, the lady recognized me and was again very rude and uncooperative. We wanted to book the same 5 rooms and just understand what the problem was, but she kept repeating how busy she was and that we were wasting her time. Unfortunately we had no other place to go as it was so last minute, so we booked the rooms for the date we needed and left. I am very shocked by this kind of behavior of a reception staff. If I weren't already in Paris, I wouldnt have been able to book the rooms, as she put me on hold when I called her. If this hadn't happened 2 days before our supposed stay, we would have definitely went to another hotel, but by that time there were no more rooms left in nearby hotels. I highly recommend to management to either improve their hiring process when selecting reception staff, or at least offer training on how to handle...
