BENLUX — Local services in Paris

While they do have a lot of products, they are overpriced and honestly a little sketchy. It's NOT Duty free, you need to go through steps to get your refund just like any other store so don't be confused. The Tax Free area downstairs was closed when I shopped, so after circling the store multiple times getting sent in various directions, I was assisted by the person who checked me out. Seeing as Tax Free filing is not their normal job, I later find out I was not given all the correct paperwork to file my VAT refund. If you are looking for a name brand item, go to the actual store and don't waste your time at this tourist trap. Would have cost lest to buy at the actual brand's store and they probably wouldn't have "forgotten" to give me the refund slip and then accuse me of losing it. The staff there speaks Mandarin very well. Service is great but price is somewhat more expensive than normal pharmacy in Paris. When checking out, realized one additional item which I clearly remember I did not put in, told the staff and she remove it from the bill. When back to hotel, found another item which I did not take. I somehow got a feeling that they secretly add in items to make the total price close to €175 so that you will get some more stuff for the tax rebate.
