Improvement needed at this new hotel.
Staffs were friendly, however it seems like they aren't experienced and well trained enough. We stayed 3nights at the popular room facing the church. We have pre-paid all our stayed way before checked in, but we were asked to pay again 3 times by 3 different staffs during check-in and during check-out. And we have to repeat ourselves 3 times that we have paid.
On our 1st night, their hot water tank have issues during midnight. Maybe the hotel is new, the staff admitted that something is wrong, hence the hot water came out very cloudy. And when we called the room service n explain the problem, they said they couldnt get the technician ao late, he proposed I can use the lobby toilet to wash up?!?! But we don't pay 500euros/night to brush teeth at the lobby toilet. hence we asked for mineral water so that we can use to brush teeth, but The operator on the phone don't get it, and said he can't give bottles of water. Upon numeours request, they send 1 bottle of water for 2 of us to brush teeth. Though it is clearly the hotel issues, but they cant give bottles of water.
During working hours, the technician is around and try to fix the cloudy water issues. But can't be fixed. So we live with cloudy hot water for 3 days.
Crossiant served at the madame reve cafe was delicious.
We choose this hotel instead of others after seeing vouge and their ig marketing. However, a little disappointed in their management. The hotel is marketing as a luxury hotel, staffs training really needs improvements.
Lastly. 2 days after checked out, they charge 35euro to my credit card, we wrote an email n asked them what's the charge about, n they advised that we took a wine from the mini fridge. Which we did not and shouldn't this room check be done during our check out n...
Read moreHôtel Madame Rêve offers a unique Parisian experience that is hard to match. It is an oasis of serenity in the heart of the city, only a few steps away from the Louvre. We loved our room that overlooked the Parisian roofs. We were able to wake up to a beautiful view of Paris without even leaving our bedroom. Our room was cozy and homey, thanks to the luxurious wood and beautiful natural light all day long. A major plus was that we didn’t have to go far for dinner either. The hotel has two beautiful and very different restaurants depending on what kind of mood you are in. La Plume is a youthful and trendy spot, we enjoyed the DJ and intimate vibe as well as the excellent food. Madame Rêve Café brings us back to 19th century Paris, very elegant and sophisticated. The hotel staff was very helpful on giving us advice on the best places and exhibitions to visit. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to live an authentic and contemporary...
Read moreI recently visited Madam Reve Cafe and I have to say, I was very impressed. The atmosphere is lovely - it's cozy and welcoming, with just the right amount of ambiance to make for a relaxing visit.
But what really stood out to me were the drinks and food. The hot chocolate was absolutely delicious - it was rich and creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. And the dim sum was fantastic as well - everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. I particularly enjoyed the steamed shrimp dumplings.
The service was great too - the staff was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. It's clear that they take pride in their work and are dedicated to providing a great experience for their customers.
Overall, I had a wonderful time at Madam Reve Cafe. It's a great spot to grab a drink and a bite to eat, whether you're looking for a quick snack or a leisurely meal. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for a visit - you won't be...
