My wife and I stayed here from September 1st to 5th 2024. Booked an "executive studio" directly from the hotel's website. The people were nice, the cleaning people did a really good job every day, the reception was quick to respond to our requests for extra things (towel, iron) and there was a 24h lounge with snacks and coffee which was convenient. They also had a self-service laundry room which would be great for longer stays.
The thing we liked the least was the room. The listed amenities and photos show a moderately sized closet and an electric stove top, among other things that qualify it as an "aparthotel". Our room did not have the stove top, and only had a small clothes-hanging open-rack. Management did write to us offering to change the room but it was our last night and we didn't have time to switch. Nevertheless, it felt like we paid the executive room rate for a small superior room.
There's a small number of power outlets that are not well distributed, for example one side of the bed had 1 outlet, and the other side had 1 that was used by the telephone, i.e., we had to unplug the telephone to use that outlet. The shower is a walk-in with a small glass pane barrier which lead to the bathroom floor being soaked every time one of us took a shower.
The location is good but I only gave it 4 stars because there are many hotels near the arc in that price range that are situated on more lively streets or have better views.

Read moreI recently stayed at Mode Paris Aparthotel and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. While the location was convenient and close to popular tourist attractions, there were several issues that overshadowed the positives.
Firstly, the air conditioning in both the room and the gym was not working properly. This made the overall comfort level quite poor, especially during the hot weather. It was disappointing to have such essential amenities not functioning as expected.
Additionally, the complementary snacks were not adequately replenished. The baskets, they were quickly emptied within 30 seconds. Considering the price we paid for our stay, we had expected the snacks to be available throughout the day. This lack of attention to detail was disappointing.
On a positive note, the room was clean, and the staff members were polite and helpful. However, when we requested body wash, the response was unprofessional. Instead of providing a new package promptly, they arrived with a crew to install a cheap brand, which felt quite cheap and low-quality. This situation was inconvenient, as my husband was already in the shower and we ended up showering without body wash or shampoo.
Overall, I cannot overlook the significant issues with the air conditioning and the unsatisfactory snack replenishment. Read moreI am a bit disappointed of the professionalism of this hotel despite not being a customer of their hotel.
By way of background, I had inputted my credit card information in a phishing website which caused a transaction of over EUR 1,000 in this hotel on 30 July 2024. I had contacted the hotel on 31 Jul 2024 where they also identified such transaction on the same date as referring to a room reservation.
However, they just keep saying the transaction was processed via 3D Secure (3Ds) and are not willing to investigate the matter upon multiple email correspondence with them. They just said need to wait for my bank to dispute the transaction. Everyone knows this kind of process takes a long time and the scammer would have already consumed the service.
I understand that this is completely my fault to input my credit card information in a phishing website, and I would not blame the hotel if they have already delivered the goods/services to the scammer. However, it is room service where the scammer has not yet consumed, and they can just easily double check with the person who made the room reservation to verify if it involves a scam.
I have another credit card under the same phishing attack which caused transaction in a Singapore hotel and they have already completed the investigation and started processing a refund.
