Al Dar Restaurant — Restaurant in Paris

We decided to try this restaurant after hearing people praise their mloukhiye. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype—it wasn’t good, and it certainly wasn’t fresh.

The service was another major disappointment. First, the prices are outrageously high (1 portion for 32€) . We opted for two portions of mloukhiye for four people because we heard the portions were generous and we weren’t that hungry. When we mentioned this to the waiter, he gave us a judgmental look. He then brought only two plates, so we asked for two more, which clearly annoyed him, and he shot us another unfriendly glance.

OVER PRICED !!!!! 71€ for 4 kunefe with one tea pot!!!!!!!!!!

While the food tastes good and very close to original Lebanese cuisine, it’s overpriced !! Like why should i pay 11€ for a hummus dish!! Anyway, what bothered me is that the waiter is always mad and doesn’t smile at all!

We were 4 persons, we ordered 4 kunefe with a One tea pot , he bring the tea pot with four small cups ( traditional lebanese small cups , about 50 ml each) And one Evian water 1.5L

The bill came 71€ ! Whyyyy?! Omg each kunefe cost 10.5€ The tea pot cost almost 10€ ? Lets say 15€ The water bottle is left ! It cost 14€ ?! Whyyy ?!

Although the waiter always mad and not smiling which makes u uncomfortable !!

Me and my husband went there with our 9 month old baby after having a tired day in paris, no highchair or baby changing facilities. We couldn't understand the menu (we are from london) but the man who work there didn't help us when we asked so we ordered only 1 chicken shawarma which was dry and tasteless with cold bread and we paid €27 for it!!
