Hostel Old City Sololaki — Hotel in Tbilisi

In summer I stayed in this hostel in Tbilisi and was very happy about it. There are few reasons. One is that price you pay for a single bed (it is actually not a hostel, but rather homestay, no bunk beds here) is the same you would pay for bunk bed somewhere else. It is 20-25 lari per person (depends upon room size). Another reason is location, which is perfect (10 min walk from Liberty Square). Much cooler here than in downtown and more authentic. ||Vazha, hostels owner, offers free homemade wine and will help with orientation around Tbilisi and will call taxi (always low tariff with no ripoff) for your trip to Airport or Rail Station. There is kitchen, refrigerator and washing machine (all is included into price). ||I was looking for a place where I could feel at home and found it here....

If there is a lower than i star i would definitely use it, The place stinks and it's extremely dirty the moment you walk in you'll smell the mold and it's so strong that you might cough i left the hostel immediately upon arrival and i preferred to stay in the street for couple of hours till i find another stay. Not recommended for kids at all Not recommended for adults (even if it's for free) The place is even worse than my description (really hard...
