OK, where shall I start... This place is a DANGER for your health and the area is set in is a danger for your safety. ||1. The shower is full of mould (I got photographic evidence, see pics). I think the German health authority should step in, this is not only disgusting, it is plain all health damaging.||2. The windows are very thin and the walls as well (one of the outside walls had a hole in it that fit the TV cable! See pic). The street underneath and the people standing around are VERY loud. Do not expect to be able to sleep without ear plugs. Also - I thought the room was rather cold, because it is not well insulated.||3. The area is full of sex shops, shisha bars and just around the corner there is an area where drug addicts meet. ||4. The walls in my room were smeared (see pics).||5. I had 2 small bugs in my room that I could not identify. In any case they were disgusting. ||6. TV did not work. They had multiple people come and try to fix it. It would work for a bit and break again. I think it was a combination of empty batteries and connectivity.||7. I would most definitely not stay here for any PRICE whatsoever. I would also not recommend to anyone to ever stay here. I paid around 50€, however, I feel like the mould, horrible noise, nasty area, lack of TV, etc. really impaired me. ||8. Curtains were extremely dirty, full of stains and the curtain holder was falling apart, just like the mirror in the bathroom, the desk (it looked as if someone chewed on it) and the bedsheet had 2 black stains on it, although it actually appeared washed. (see pics)||9. Elevator STARTS on the 2nd floor (3rd US floor)!!! Imagine how much sense that makes and how comfortable it is to carry your luggage 2 floors up and down…!!!||Honestly, even if someone paid me to stay here again, I would under no circumstances consider it again. Do yourselves a favour and book sth. else, this is...
Read moreIts in a decent area. By the city center and the area is very diverse and different cultures areas around. People are loud in the middle of the night and I didn't mind it. I wouldnt recommend go to hotel unless you short on cash because its a good price but you get what you pay for.Very rude and unprofessional staff. Based on the other reviews other people said they were nice. Not to me or my guest. Ill start off with a list.
My guest came and they said they had to pay to stay there. I said that was fine. I paid €25 euro and I was fine with that. What they didn't tell us was it was €25 euro per day. We were getting ready for the day the next day and they were calling us multiple times to pay the money and they were rushing us. I didn't like that. I paid after I got ready and went on my business. Also to mention it wasn't put in the system that my guest was here which cause more problems.
We have to turn in the key everytime I leave the establishment. I needed to run to my car real quick to get something in which I didnt park far at all. The guy who was working the front was...
Read moreI stayed here for the nights of July 2–4. At the end of my Booking.com reservation email, there was a small note mentioning a 3 euro city tax, which I hadn’t noticed before. When I arrived, the elderly man at the reception (possibly Iranian) suddenly started yelling and acting aggressively instead of explaining the charge properly. He made strange gestures and was very rude.
Eventually, he called the owner, Mr. Şahin, who explained the situation calmly. I checked the email again, realized I had missed the small city tax note, and agreed to pay it. I also told Mr. Şahin over the phone that the receptionist’s behavior was completely inappropriate.
Right after that, the elderly man started shouting again. I shouted back and told him I’d call the police. Then, he suddenly changed and began asking me to calm down.
He completely ruined my night and made me furious. If he doesn’t apologize before I check out, I won’t be changing this review.
Now I understand why this hotel has such high ratings on Booking.com but noticeably lower ones on Google Maps. Unfortunately, it all...
