We stayed as a family for a couple of nights in August 2024.||It was a short easy walk from Lubeck train station and we were able to leave our luggage as we were too early for our room to be ready. |We were welcomed and then went downstairs to use the toilets. The "main stair" area was pretty extravagant for a premier inn and we were immediately very impressed.|This level also has direct access to the car park and a bicycle store.||It was about 5 mins walk into the main Lubeck town centre which was stunning.||We returned later and checked into our room and we're very impressed.||We had lovely views of lubeck and also a large door to open wide (with glass to stop us falling out). Something which I don't think would ever be allowed in England but which we loved.|The free WiFi was excellent.||The whole room / hotel was absolutely spotless.... "Clinically clean". Probably the cleanest hotel bathroom I've ever stayed in and way more luxurious and cleaner than any British premier inn ||The bath(shower) room was spacious and the rain shower was so high that even the tallest person could comfortably stand under it.||The continental breakfast was excellent and great value with different choices to British (understandably as we were in Germany) but it still included sausage eggs and beans as well as an extensive "continental" selection, including breakfast cereals a large selection of teas and oat milk. Again ... The breakfast was significantly better than British premier inn breakfast.||The reason I only gave the hotel very good rather than excellent was because our air conditioning was not working properly. We reported it 3 times and someone tried to fix it and apparently reset it but it still didn't work effectively and we couldn't get the room below 28c which made for an uncomfortable night's sleep .||I would never have booked a room without air conditioning in August.||Other wise this was by far the best, most luxurious premier inn we have ever stayed in (we must have stayed in 30+ premier inns in England) and I'd highly recommend staying here and eating breakfast here if...

Read moreWe wanted a hotel convenient to both the old town and the train station and were familiar with Premier Inn from the UK. The price was also a bargain, so we went for it and were not disappointed! Rooms are modern, a decent size and have great soundproofing on the windows. Beds were really comfy and we were happy to have separate duvets. Bathroom was small and could use more hooks/shelves, but the shower was excellent (except for the water running onto the floor). Usual Premier Inn standard and good value for money, especially as this is a newer property. It was perfect for our stay as we were very busy during the days and just wanted a quiet and comfortable place to sleep at night.||Short walk to the station or town, although there is nothing really of interest directly near the hotel. The hotel has a bar and offers breakfast, but we didn't test these out.||||A few negatives that kept it from top rating: Although there was a thermostat in the room, we couldn't control the temperature and it was extremely warm and stuffy at night, even though it was only 15C outside during the day. We had to open the windows for hours every evening to try to cool things down, which wasn't always practical. Also, housekeeping was slightly patchy - when we checked in, there was a dirty glass sitting on the bed and the toilet wasn't properly cleaned. Not really a great first impression, especially since they tout their cleaning protocols. Also, we returned another evening to find our room hadn't been cleaned at all - we were able to get towels from reception, but it was an annoyance after a long day out.||||On the whole thoughl, a good stay at a great price, and I'd consider staying again when...
