I stayed for 2 days and had mixed bad and good experiences. First, the apartment was lovely and everything was new, clean and very spacious. It was easy to contact the management and to check in. I appreciated being accommodated when I wanted to leave my luggage in the room hours before check in. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There is a lift, so you can take bags upstairs easily. The negative: watch the videos I've left with the sound on. That was some kind of construction noise on the other side of the bedroom wall. There was drilling which vibrated everything and then a high pitched drill. Waking up this way was TERRIBLE. It occured on and off for hours. I really needed to sleep that morning and was so tired. The kitchen didn't come equipped with a frying pan. Making it a challenge to cook 90% of the foods I had purchased. I also was accosted by a resident of the building when I was in the lobby. She was rude and aggressive, quite terrifying. She demanded to know who I am and commanded me to demonstrate that I can properly shut the door. Just not necessary or appropriate.

We had a fantastic stay here and loved the location. The host was great as well and gave us lots of good recommendations for things to do and places to go. We loved the room itself and everything around it. It does get a little noisy at night, but just play some music or something and it would block out the sound for sure!

An absolute joke of an establishment and one of the few places I would give zero stars if I could. I was rebooked to "Furla Suites" on the tail end of an (overall) amazing trip to Greece. Despite the lack of reviews for "Furla Suites," I agreed to the rebooking because the photos of the rooms from the "Furla Suites" profile seemed to be of a similar quality to the original booking.

Things started to go wrong when I was given the contact details for Despina, who purports to be the "Reservation & Operations Manager." It took Despina a long time to ever respond to my questions about check-in time and during my experience with her, she lied and misrepresented herself several times. By far, the worst thing she did was at the last minute (literally while I was in the taxi from the airport) change the address from Agiou Markou 16 (the address for "Furla Suites") to Pallados 21 (the address for what I later figured out was a cheaper and more run-down establishment called "Furla Apartments"). At the time, she offered no explanation beyond that this was the "actual" address. When I got to the apartment, I immediately saw that it was way smaller, dirtier and overall inferior to the pictures from "Furla Suites" (and the walls were paper thin with tons of noise from the adjacent apartment where there were a bunch of guys partying) and after some Googling, I realized I was at "Furla Apartments" (but still paying the original price for a much nicer apartment). I eventually got a hold of Despina at one of the two numbers she used (she would randomly text and call me at both without any explanation and ignored my texts asking why she didn't use the official contact number provided) and we had an unhinged phone call where she lied several times. At one point, she claimed that she had had no choice but to book us at "Furla Apartments" because there were no bookings available at "Furla Suites" and when I pushed her on this, she spoke with me in a very snarky an aggressive manner and said that there was a "Furla Suite" available, I would only get it if she "chose to offer" it to me. Eventually, she did so, but by that point, I no longer felt comfortable leaving my valuables anywhere where this woman has access. I booked another hotel and arranged for a full refund from the original accommodations (and made sure to tell them about Despina and this experience).

I am writing this so other people do not get taken advantage of by Despina, who I have come to be believe is a fraud and was trying to put me in a cheaper apartment while getting a higher fee from the original accommodations. Avoid this person...

The Furla Apts is located on the second floor of the building. AT least 5 apts are there./ The one I am describing had number A5.||||Apartment itself was nice, spacious, clean. However, in the beginning the shower was not fixed (as I read many other travelers' opinions the problem was known to the management) but after we asked to fixt it, they did it in a few hours.||||Wifi was fast however it needed to be restarted a few times over 7 days we were staying.||||Unfortunately the venue is very loud. From the outside you can hear all the noise that starts at 10 pm and lasts till 4 am. Especially because there are a lot of bars nearby and there is a bar just beneath the A5 apt. You can hear the noise and the music from this very bar in the bathroom. Loud and not pleasant at all.||||Check-in was easy and a lady that kept sending us all the information via Whats'up was helpful. Then you. And so was a housekeeper - a Spanish lady always left our spt clean and tidy. Garbage was thrown away, bed was made for us and everything was ok. ||||Athans is an overrated destination. Streets are far from being clean, there were lots of beggars laying on the streets, food was supposed to be delicious but in fact was not (except for one decent restaurant V1935). The highlights were of course the Acropolis, Hercules shrine, Piraeus port and park, small churches that you can find...
