Review from May 2023 since I just realized Google blocked my review
Just got back from this restaurant. Food was decent. Service was beyond terrible.
Once we sat down, it took the waiter about 15 minutes to take our order (which was fine since it was busy). After our order was taken, my daughter (2 years old) was playing with the salt and pepper shaker and was tossing a small amount of the pepper into her water glass. The waiter came by and said to my 2 year old daughter something along the lines of "my other customers need to use that too". His tone was serious and he was definitely not joking. Imagine saying that to a 2 year old child...
Anyways, we decided to leave since the waiters garbage attitude was off-putting. I went up to ask the joker at the front (who has been relegated to begging tourists to eat at the restaurant) to ask our waiter to come over to the table cause we'd like our food to go. His response was "find him yourself".
When I found him, I told him we wanted our food to go. After about 15 more minutes, he brought the food and we left back to our nearby hotel. Once there, we realized that the delicate geniuses at the restaurant didn't give us any cutlery (apparently they feel like their food should be eaten by hand).
My wife, already frustrated by this total lack of anything resembling customer service, went back to get cutlery. She asked one of the waiters for some cutery. His response was typical of a total i d i o t ("what are you asking me for? Go to the front").
After this, we ate the decent (5/10) food and now I am writing this review.
Don't go here. The service is...
Read moreRandom find when the restaurant we were looking for was closed around the corner. It's located in a cute little circle with a fantastic bakery right across the way.
We opted only to order from the daily specials menu to try to keep a more authentic meal.
The bread was fantastically soft in the center and probably filled me up faster than I should have let it.
The moussaka was quite good... but not necessarily the best we had in Greece.
The Stuffed Cabbage Rolls were absolutely amazing. I couldn't stop eating them until they were all gone. The cabbage was filled with just enough meat so as not to lose the taste of the cabbage. The sauce on top was like a lemon gravy. Photos do not do justice to the entree, which I have found to be consistent with all greek food we've had.
The Kalogiros was a baked eggplant with a richly slow cooked beef and tomatoes and topped with gruyere cheese. I didn't feel like it needed all of the cheese, but of course what doesn't taste good with cheese?
Overall a great find and we are glad we took the chance on it! Prices were reasonable and the wine that was recommended was perfect...
Read moreAvoid this place at all cost specially those who are with you children!! Disgusted! Disappointed! And humiliated as we’ve never been before 🤮
We are two families with young children( below 2) traveling from the UK to explore this wonderful country. Whilst we were heading towards the hotel , we were invited ( kinda forcefully 😁made us to dine at this place. However, even after 45min of “patiently waiting” we did not receive a damn thing, despite being reminded them kindly that we have two babies who are already exhausted . Worst of all , everyone else around us got whatever they ordered sooner than us , left un being unattended and neglected! 🤮pathetic!!!!The waiter we got today was the worst we’ve ever seen! Extremely rude and so unprofessional!!!! Food was just satisfactory. To the management: Please be careful with this kind of behaviors of your employees. We spend a fortune and traveling to your beautiful country to get a lovely experience but unfortunately these incidents may hamper your reputation as a business and of course it’ll give people some bad experiences and wrong view ...
