Had an amazing stay here! For the price, the room was amazing, really nice and big, bed was really comfy. Our appartment had a sofa bed aswell, we had plenty of spare bedding. Kitchen was basic but we didnt need anything else, there was a sink, mini oven, fridge. The only think i would add would be a toaster, we did cook toast in the oven and it was fine but would have been nice to have a toaster. It had a separate shower toilet and two sinks, nice a big, and great shower pressure, just remember dont flush anything down the toilet. Location is perfect, 5 minute walk from the metro station, which has a direct line to the airport so didnt have to get taxis, it was super easy. Its also right next to the shopping area and loads of great restaurants. Its also right near all the main tourist attractions, the acropolis is about 15 minutes away and you can actually see it from the balcony. Our host was also so friendly and incredibly helpful. Gave us lots of good recommendations, checked us in fine and was really helpful. I would definitely go back, and would recommend a stay here, for the location, the facilities, the size of the room, you cant get much better! Its perfect for couple, families or group of up to 4. One thing i will mention, there is a church that chimes its bell every half an hour right next to the apartment, it usually doesnt start until 10 am and stops around 10pm, however it did go off at about 6 am one morning and it is really loud and woke us up, so if youre a light sleeper, take ear plugs just incase. The bells are also 7 minutes fast (e.g. 10:23, 10:53, 11:23 etc.) Which we never asked why! But would be interesting to know why.

We had a lovely stay at the Hellenic Hospitality House, albeit only one night. We stayed in the Zeus room as a couple, and it was HUGE! If it wasn’t one of the only rooms left we probably would have gotten a smaller room, but we loved being on the top deck and being able to see the Parthenon from the balcony. It’s a gorgeous apartment tucked in central Athens, and this room is perfect for a family who wants the ease of walkability around the city. Yes, as others have stated, there are two sets of stairs to walk up to the 1st floor, but there IS a small elevator to take to the 5th floor to check-in. If you’ve ever been to NYC or any other European country and stayed outside of a major hotel, you’ll be fine. If you have limitations with mobility, might not be a good fit. We had a nice visit with the owner, Chris, who was pleasant and eager to make us feel welcome. We found him to be very reasonable—but it’s best to understand that he runs the operations independently, so he welcomes all guests individually that visit. That said, he has a family of his own to get home to, so best to reach out well in advance if you will arrive later than 7pm. Also, office opens at 10am, so dropping off bags earlier than that isn’t an option. But there are other options in the city to hold bags. We used Krassas Luggage storage around the corner for €5 per bag and it was perfect for us. We enjoyed our stay and everything was beyond satisfactory! Wish we had more time!

That was an amazing, fantastic, outstanding, magnificent, world of class and excellence stay to be honest.. If I could rate more than 5 stars with gg maps I would love to do that. Specially, the host was superrrr friendly hospitable and supportive in all the fields during our stays. He assisted us from the bottom of the heart with a very professional humanities and politely way. That makes me and my friends definitely want to stay in Hellenic Hospitality House again and again in anytime we have chance to come to Athens. Therefore I would highly recommend everyone who are still confusing and wondering in the process of finding accommodation to choose this unique place. With the best host best location best facilities best quality best PRICEEEE 💯💯💯. Small story beside the host even took care of me when I was doing my checkout and I did share with him that I had a hangover, he gave me medicine and some recommendations what should I eat after.

Stayed here for 2 nights in the Penthouse apartment. On arrival we had to walk up approx 15 steps to get to the 1st floor to then be able to use the lift. The response I have had from the manager since was ‘did you not read the information?’ Well yes I did but it only says that the lift is on the 1st floor and no mention of lots of steps, maybe a bit of help with our luggage would have been nice rather than sitting behind the desk asking what we had paid for our transfer and then telling me it was too expensive because you could have got a cheaper deal. On entering the apartment we were also disappointed as the description stated 2 bathrooms however it was one bathroom and then a separate toilet just off the kitchen area, perhaps this needs to be updated? On our 2nd day after visiting the Acropolis we went back to the room and within a couple of minutes the manager came knocking asking us not to leave the air conditioning on whilst out. The idea of the air con is to enter a nice cool room after being in 45 degree heat outside. We didn’t make a fuss as we were only there 2 nights but then after returning home I was asked to post a review through the booking site which I did. Within a couple of hours of posting this I had the manager sending me WhatsApp messages asking why I had only given 7.5 scores? I advised that I am entitled to my own opinion and that 7.5 was actually rated good on the review site (nothing was excellent and this is why I chose good)and I could have also mentioned the dirty balcony and old furniture. He then told me that he would report me to Genius for my review and it is normal to have a dirty balcony. Your hotel would be so much better if you could take ownership of some criticism, rectify what people say and make necessary improvements rather than become defensive and make sarcastic comments in response to the review. Please remember it is us tourists that are keeping you in a job and not everybody’s review will be the same. People don’t appreciate being questioned on a review that they have given when it has been done in all honesty and you cannot make somebody change their mind about something by sending message after message...

I'm giving it only 1 star because of the treatment received by a highly aggressive and intimidating hotel manager at the outset of check-in. We had booked an airport transfer to the hotel and was told the individual would be waiting with a sign at the arrivals entrance. The person never showed up (we were looking for about 1 hour) and we decided to take the taxi. Upon arriving at the hotel, the manager alleges that his driver was making announcements at the airport and was trying to call us, both which were untrue (I didn't receive any calls and the airport PA system wasn't making announcements for passengers that booked private transport!). The manager didn't believe me and told me to pay for the transport fee (80 euros!). He said he already paid the driver and needed my money NOW. I felt completely scammed. It felt sketchy as he wasn't concerned about anything else but getting his money immediately. After pushing back hard, I still had to pay and we negotiated a reduced fee - which reinforced the feeling that this was a pure MONEY GRAB. The manager is generally quite rude. condescending and abrasive in the way he answers basic questions about the area. We saw this with other patrons going to see him. Accommodation was clean and location is very good if you want to see the main sites around the Acropolis. However, I won't recommend this place based on the treatment of the manager. He is not hospitable and not interested in...
