great design +Modern interior Nespresso coffee machine (two pods of normal coffee) but instant coffee, tea sugar in cupboard +Very clean Blinds are on buttons - electric Earplugs left on bed (not sure if that's "soundproof" part of listing on booking.com but generally it was quiet area at night (before and after 22:00)

+Panini sandwich press in one of the drawer was a really nice surprise. I hope it is on the list for cleaners to raise its not been taken as nice touch. 🥪

There are some pots and cooking spatulas etc. which is great but concerned the frying pan won't last long without scratches let's hope for long lasting layer of teflon.🍲

+Microwave available in room 🍜♨️ 3 different sizes towels Platform bedframe but very tall 🛌mattress nearly as tall as my 1,5l tall water bottle without cap and bit.

Ironing board 👕 Hairdryer with 2 attachments (thin and for curly hair) hope it won't get stolen over time 😣

Handle has fingerprint on it but it's not for guest use and you can lock the door temporarily if you have 3 failed attempts. You can still open from inside though. 🚪

smell on arrival was weird it smelled of alcohol. Smell must been used by cleaners during cleaning after a while was gone after running ac. 👃

located in not the best looking area but haven't explored Athens much so can't say - check Google maps.

only one refillable glass bottle in fridge. Not sure about water source so left untouched. I wish there were 2 small plastic bottles instead? 🍶

I found it tricky to find the right place as someone from UK. More pictures of the place should be available on booking.com and on Google maps as street view is showing some old pictures that are not relevant. 📍🗺️

It seems generally access to the property is tricky as our neighbour guests spent some time on corridor unable to get in. Apx. 50y old I would say. So, might be tricky to get in if you're not into tech. Like checking emails/ booking.com messages regularly (maybe). Booked this a day or two in advance so not sure how it works for other people with all the information - can't say what went wrong there 😩 but they were on corridor for an hour or so.

Verdict: yes I would return if i were to visit Athens again but maybe tried different l from this triple A.

Just reading the last review and I had to chuckle, and wonder if that person has ever stayed in a place so central before. Does it matter the lift is one person at a time? The flight of stairs to the first floor is easy and he could have walked! I've just spent two nights in room 5 and it was great. I could open my window and be serenaded by the wonderful sounds from the street below, greek musicians played at the restaurant below and it was beautiful, or I could close the window and enjoy peace and quiet, great double glazing! The kitchenette with fridge was very useful and well used to store drinks and left over food from meals out which I could never finish. I have a car so the free parking 2 minutes walk away is an excellent perk. Not many places offer that, it is normally 10 euros at least a night. I do have to mention the shower, mine too went cold after maybe 5 minutes, which wasn't so pleasant and maybe something the owners do need to look into. Otherwise I can't fault the place for cleanliness, location or customer service. One last thing, the restaurant downstairs is worth eating at. I spent 6 nights in this apartment and was well-informed of the check-in details prior to my stay. Since it’s a self-serviced apartment so don’t expect that there would be 24-hours front desk service offered, so guests are recommended to communicate with the managerial staffs (i.e. Despina) well before their stay and the representatives would try to satisfy your requests concerning issues like early/late check in, luggage storage and even laundry service. The apartment is flawlessly clean and completely refurbished with modern and stylish décor. You could enjoy a high degree of privacy inside the premises and there are eateries and amenities nearby. It’s just a 7-minute walk to the metro station and the heart of the city (Monastiraki) and other tourist attractions are within walking distance. For those who are into clubbing and night life, this apartment is definitely your ideal choice because the pubs and clubs are just downstairs.
