Hestia - Asklipiou 61 — Hotel in Athens

We stayed for almost 2 months. Let's start with the good: the rooms are great, they are modern and pretty comfortable. The cleaning lady is very nice and helpful. But the service here is just awful. The so called "concierge" support number is a joke. They answer once in a few hours, in a rude manner, blaming the guests with everything and taking 0 responsibility or will to help with anything. Examples: wifi is slow/barely working. Response: "it's a problem in the whole area, they are fixing it." which is obviously incorrect when the wifi in the Cafe next door works perfectly. And this goes on for 2 months with the same answer. Fire alarm ringing crazy loud for almost 3 hours in the whole building without anyone responding or fixing it. Response (after an hour): "No one told us." again, a lie. 5 people wrote them over an hour ago, and also are you serious? Why do I need to tell you the fire alarm is on? Apartment is too hot because of a sunny day with direct sunlight and AC is already on warm mode in the whole building. Response: "It's not hot in the apartment, it's cold. Open a window". Obviously window is open.

Loft room 602 is a near perfect space. Kitchenette is complete with a dishwasher and everything you need for a kitchenette. The living room is comfortable. The bathroom is not ensuite, if that matters to you. The bedroom has a small wardrobe but with neither hanging space nor hangers. There are 2 balconies, one smaller one by the bedroom and a full length apartment access balcony on the other that gives you a great view and has a retractable awning. All guests have access to the roof top viewing deck, one floor above the highest room floor (6th floor) accessible via stairs with sweeping views of the Acropolis and other vistas.The location is an artistic and local one. We understood that the noise from the ground level cafe/bar/traffic may be an issue but we had no issues on this floor. It's quiet.We loved this area, there's a unique charm to it that's rather bohemian. We loved it so much that we extended our stay.Everything else you may need, a concierge service is contactable via WhatsApp, they don't do calls very well. Response time is quick in the daytime.Special needs accessibility may be an issue at the main door of the apartment complex has a step with no ramp and the same for the stairs-only...

I had a wonderful 2 night stay at Hestia - Asklipiou 61 in Athens. The apartment and facilities are so modern, the property was really easy to access. I did have to call the customer service and they were quick and very helpful. The rooms are gorgeous, super super super clean. The bed was comfy and aircon worked a treat! The view from my room looked over the church which is stunning (the bells are a bit loud but don't last long). The only issue I could foresee staying here is the noise, if you are a light sleeper you may struggle to sleep with the noise from the bars below - however, I put on some white noise and it was no issue for me.
